What is the weather like in December at WDW?

We go the first week in December every year - The weather has been in the upper 80's low 90's to being in the 60's and raining. for the most part though it is in the the low to middle 70's and beautiful. We LOVE going that first week - it is right after Thanksgiving and right before Christmas so crowds are low and all the Christmas activites are in full swing. I totally recommend it. My best advice is to check weather reports right before you leave as it can be anywhere with the weather. Best wishes on your "Magical Planning" - Mollee

You can have 30 degrees or 80 degrees. It can be sunny or it can be rainy. It just depends.

We visited WDW in December of 05 and again in 08. One year it was very warm and sunny, with temps in the low 80s. I had on a light sweatshirt while waiting for the bus in the morning. By the time we made it to the parks my sweatshirt was in the stroller basket and I didn't need it until the next morning. We wore shorts and t-shirts for the whole trip, never needing any jeans at all-even at MVMCP. It was hot, but not unbareable.

This past year when we visited, I had jeans and sweatshirts on the entire trip. I was a bit disappointed with the temperatures but tried not to complain because it was much colder in Wisconsin than Florida. I had 5 cups of hot chocolate at MVMCP to try and keep me warm.

I would pack jeans and sweatshirst just to be safe because you just never know. This way you can save money on expensive WDW sweatshirts you might need to purchase

We have been the last three years. We normally see 70's during the day. As the sun goes down it is much cooler and you will need a warmer top.

December's beautiful in Disney. You can go from an afternoon of swimming to enjoying the "snowfall" on main st in the evening where it's cool enough to allow the flakes to fall on you instead of evaporating 10' up.

When in Disney in Dec/Jan, you'll find layers are your best friend. Dress cool enough for a hot day, but bring a sweatshirt for evening. I also packed cheap thin gloves as my hands get cold fast. They did get used.

Landed Dec 20th 2000. Freezing temps in the morning mid 50s in the afternoon all 5 days we were there.

Landed Dec 19th 2001 for ten days and used the pool almost every day I think it only rained once?

Dec 9th last year for 7 days. Rained the first 5 and then very warm the last two ..... you can never figure out the the weather in December, it's hit or miss.

We've been the 2nd-3rd week for the last two years. In 2007 we were wearing winter jackets, scarves, hats, gloves, sweatshirts etc. This past December it was shorts and swimming in the pool.
