Dec codes?

Okay all you budget minded people. Do I book a room now and wait for codes to appy to our ressie or wait till the codes come out? We only need 1 night (dec 2).

Since 12/2 is a MVMCP night, my advice is to book something now. Book somewhere that you would be willing to stay even if no codes come out. That way you will at least know you have a place to stay.

If/When codes come out, you can make the change to the lower rate or book somewhere else if the price is right.

FWIW, those who book at a place they will not stay without a code, decrease the chances of discounts being offered (or at least decrease the number of rooms that may be offered at a discount). Disney bases it discounts on estimates of occupancy. If the hotels are booked at rack or near rack, there is little incentive to offer discounts.

Those on Thursday and Friday nights will - especially as it gets closer to the dates. MVMCP events are very popular with the locals. Many will book an on site night or a longer weekend to attend.
