OK, all you Dec. Disers. How are you going to plan your ADR's with no park hours posted. I only have few days left before my 180 day mark. Does anyone have any ideas. Nov. people feel free to share your pain and how you managed as well.

Thanks!

If you look at the past few months posted, you can sort of tell what the predicted EMH will be. I'm going from 11/30-12/8, and I'm just winging it. I plan on eating at CG one night--that's a christmas party night and the fireworks time has been posted, so atleast I can plan that pretty well.

Other than that, I'm just going to make them and hope for the best!

Does anyone have any ideas on the reasoning behind not posting the hours of the park?

I realize that December is a long way off, but they KNOW people have to make their ADR's 190-180 days in advance if they want the top places, especially for December. Why do they hold back the hours like that?

I don't why they are not posting the hours but when my DH sent an email to powers that be, the response was "the Dec hours will be posted on or before 6/13" ahhh YIKES so that is that. No explanation given.

I'm with you on looking at predicted EMH! I've actually done this for 2 years and never been disappointed. ;)

We went last year over Christmas and I planned my ADR"s without the EMH posted. We normally don't go to EMH b/c we're so tired, so it didn't matter to me.

This year, we're still on the fence about whether or not we're going to go over Christmas again. We need to make up our mind soon so I can start making ADR's!!

We're there in Dec. too. I simply look at last year's schedule as the template. We are only planning about 3 ADRs, so it's no biggie. We're also not dependent on the EMH schedule. The whole week is planned, but I can move things around easily if necessary. After 15 trips, you learn to go with the flow of it (and I am very Type A)!

I feel your pain. Look at last years, make the reservations, and pray for some Pixie Dust.

I'll be on deluxe DP and I have to make 19 ADR's on June 9th!!! I'm hoping the calander will be up on June 1st as its supposed to be. Either way, I'm going to make my ADR's and hope for the best and I'm just going to use last year's calander and my experience to guess the park hours, EMH, Wishes schedule, etc. I already know Epcot will be open until at least 9pm so I'm defenetly gonna go ahead with my Le Cellier ADR, but most of them won't get booked up right away anyway so I can wait if I have to, but I would suggest to anyone that if they want an ADR for somewhere very popular such as Le Cellier, Chef Mickeys, Ohana's that they take a guess and make the ADR's early regardless of the calander.

We're using last year's and TGM to predict this year's and hoping for the best.

I have a question for the people using last year's calendar--are you going by the actual date or by the day of the week (like the first Sunday in Dec., first Monday, etc...)?

I'm using day of the week. The EMH days, etc, seem to corrospond more with which day of the week it is instead of which day. So, for instance, we're going Sat, 12/6 - Sat, 12/13, 2008 and I'm using Sat, 12/8 - Sat 11/15, 2007.

My theory is so more people will buy Parkhoppers.:confused3

I go by the day and used last year's calendar. Also, this year, we will not be traveling with teenagers, just our 4yo, so dinner no later than 7pm and then to the hotel to relax, other than Fantasmic and Meg loves SpectroMagic and the fireworks. We also are spending three days at MK, one at AK, two at DHS, and two at Epcot and a day of rest in between. So we have plenty of time and are not so worried about evening hours. :thumbsup2

I'm also looking at last year's calendar. And we know when the MVMCP's will be - so we know MK closes at 7pm on those days. I'm looking at the day of the week from last year - not the date. For example, in early Dec, looks like MK had early EMH on Thursdays - so I'm assuming the same for this year. If I'm wrong - oh, well. I'll switch what I can - but it may not really make a difference in our plans.
