I can't believe in exactly one week we'll be heading to the port!!! I don't know how I'm going to get through this next week as I'm in vacation mode already! I've got lots to do at work so hopefully that will keep me well occupied.

Plans for today include taking out all our dress clothes for dinners and making sure we have belts, the right colored socks, undershirts, etc. By tomorrow I'd like to include the casual stuff for day time wear in those piles. It's not like we are wearing shorts here anymore with the highs in the 40's and 50's! Derek bought Keegan an early Christmas gift that we are surprising him with today or tomorrow---2 tickets for them to see the Ravens Vs. Steelers tomorrow night. Luckily the boys have Monday off so a 8:30 PM game start time wont be too bad when they can sleep in. Keegan is a huge, huge, huge Ravens fan. Derek's a Steelers fan but will support the Ravens in Keegan's presence at the game.

Greetings fellow 12/5 Magic cruisers....yes, next week at this time we should be landing at MCO....we are staying at the Renissance Orlando airport Hotel....we got it through Hotwire for $63.00 for the night....it states it is a 4 star hotel but a nice clean room and bed is all we really want....were hoping for Hyatt but didn't happen....just looking forward to a nice restful 7 day cruise...I work in a supermarket and it has been a wild couple of weeks....and after the cruise it will be crazyfor 3 weeks after....see you all real soon!

Actually, I had the Renaissance booked a few months ago, but later cancelled to stay our 2 nights at CBR and do more Disney themed things. The kids are sooo excited! (ok, and so is this dad)
Notice you're from NYS. We're flying out of Buffalo on Wednesday, but we're Canadian eh
We're having a bit of a meet & greet for all on this thread on the Sunday at 9:00 breakfast at Lumieres. Hope you can join us and introduce yourself.

My elderly 82 year old Mom fell this am. The paramedics were unable to lift her and had to call back ups. She has arrived at the hospital.

My younger sister ~ the ROCK ~ is on her way to be with Mom.

Hope your mom will be ok. It's great that your sis will be there for her. I'm sure you'll be calling her from Orlando and St. Thomas to check up on her.

They are ruling out a bowel obstruction & her appendix.

Thanks beachbratt and Tower. I can't wait to meet everyone. I plan on attending the Lumiere's breakfast.

Tower, I am sure the girls will have a great time with Holly. I have a friend that just got off the Thanksgiving cruise and her daughter loves the club. Hopefully Peter will get to meet my son too.

Can't wait, I don't know if I am more excited or stressed about everything that is left to do in the next week.

33 and light rain here. Of course. That's because we are planning on going to cut down our Christmas tree later this morning. We haven't had rain in ages but NOW it rains.

I haven't started to pack yet and we leave early Wed morning. I did get medications ready this morning so I guess I've done something. And all the paperwork is ready to go, too. Now I just need suitcases and clothes.

What's packing? I need to get started on that today as DH is out of town all week and I've got to run the Holiday Shoppe at my son's school all week. We had planned to put up the tree yesterday but it didn't happen. DH is headed into work this afternoon for a few hours so I doubt that will happen today either. We might be putting it up when we get back. We leave Friday afternoon but I would love to be ready way before then. Need to finish my FE's too! Busy, busy week!!

Just finished packing DD bag, getting ready to start picking out DH clothes. Stocked up on Zentrip, Bonnine and ginger gum today. Bought waterporoof camera and memory card. Tanning- check, DD hair twisted Tues- check, pedicure Thursday- check. Had nigtmare last night that I missed the plane to Orlando- twice! Okay I truly think that I have it all under control here.

For those of you brave enough to tackle Christmas decorating pre-cruise- KUDOS Mine is going to wait until we get back!

I was good today. I took the $25 cut your own Scotch pine tree instead of the $95 precut balsam fir that was gorgeous. I know I spent $25, but I feel like I saved $70!
