Put my Christmas lights on the house last weekend, did our outdoor tree yesterday and this weekend I'll put up the nativity set on the front porch and light them up!
I love this time of year!

I am so far behind! I started taking boxes down and will get the Nativity scene up and candles in the windows, but everything else will have to wait until we return! I took the week after the cruise off to finish decorating, finish shopping and prepare for the Christmas Eve party and Christmas brunch we host every year - so looking forward to the entire month of December!

Yes--please PM me your info by early Friday. We lwave for the USA Saturday morning after which the roll call list will not be updated! With the time change--if you could get things in by say, noon or so Eastern time Friday that will give me time to get it up between all the last minute packing of tolietries and whatnot, cleaning (did I tell everyone my dad has decided to book a last minute trip to Germany after not visiting us for 6 years? He is arriving while we are gine and skiing and then will come visit us for foru days startting the day we get back GREAT timing. I mean I am thrilled to see him but really?!) etc.

The grocery store (Giant Eagle) we shop at sells gift cards and is running a double fuel perks (20 cents off each gallon of gas) special when you buy gift cards in 50 dollars increments. Well apparently they now sell Disney gift cards that can be used on the ship. In the end we are going to save around 84 dollars in gas with our fuel perks. For us thats just over two tanks. If you live in Western PA, Eastern OH or WV you may want to stop in at Giant Eagle. I think they may also have stores in Maryland too but I'm not sure.

I am still wavering on what to put on the front of our t-shirts. DH wants to cruise again. I was thinking of putting one of the DCL logos on the front. I'd love to make one that we can add our cruises onto the back of the t-shirt.

I made t-shirts last year with DCL name tags that Tom (Tooexcitedtosleep) here on the Dis made us on the front and a picture of the menu I took on a previous Disney cruise on the back saying something like Let the Magic Begin. Someone saw my name tag at Goofy's Galley and asked me for something thinking I worked for DCL! That same cruise I made pirate shirts but after they were washed (I had prewashed before I ironed them on) they kind peeled at certain points on the back. I'd like to do some more but I don't know if I'm going to get the time. I'm pretty busy at work right now and then there's wrestling for 2.5 hours at night....

I haven't checked in for just a few days and it's loaded with promotions, cute pictures, new friends and excitement for our cruise.

I don't have a picture to post, but we are a mid-age (I never think of us like that)
but my husband is mostly gray but still extremely handsome and I am a tallish wavy haired wife who will be smiling ear to ear if I reallyget to get on the ship and go on vacation. Like I already stated, last year I had to cancel a week prior, and now tomorrow I have a bone scan, so please pray with me that
all will be okay and we can still go on vacation. I may not want to come home though.

I am ready to pack! clothes are washed and folded. do you guys roll clothes or fold clothes in the suitcases? I've heard rolling keeps them less wrinkled.
any thoughts?

and anyone going to the rockin bar d nights? those sound fun. and the weather report looks really good!

we put up our Christmas decorations in the house and outside and I have my Christmas shopping done so we can just enjoy our trip and come home and enjoy the rest of the Christmas season.

I love the pictures that were posted. Kids are cute, and you have lovely families.

Barry, Stephanie, Carmen and Amy: A big thank you for helping me with the picture problem. Some time ago I wrote programs for a main frame, but laptops and the internet are somewhat of a mystery to me.

I'd also like to thank those who posted helpful information like the weather in the Caribbean.

I don't have children, and none of my family live in the area. So I decided to spend my holliday aboard the Magic making new friends and meet a couple old friends at WDW after the cruise.

Actually this is our "kid", but they won't let him aboard the ship. Even if he can dress up for pirate night.

Yeah, I've been eying this bag ever since the thread opened up. I really wish they would offer it in a crossbody since that is what I like to use at WDW. However, I would still like to have one of the bags. Supposedly they are coming out in black and I think I'd like that more than the white since I heard the white yellows after awhile. Oh, what to do???

I did notice that you had listed this cruise in your signature, but as starting December 6! If you head to the port for that date, you'll be a day to late to catch the ship.
Better take a plane rather than your trusty steed to get you there on time.

He is listing his dates American style (unless a 13th month was added to the calander when I wasn't looking). He cruised on June 13 already this year it woudl seem.


I am dispointed. I just called The Perfect Gift to order something for the kids and was asked for a number they could call me at tomorrow. I explained I am calling from Germany and was told I could call tomorrow at 10 as that would really be the only time to have a chance to talk to someone becuase they are getting ready for Thanksgiving. 10 EST is 4:00pm here--no chance of the kids not overhearing. I was really kind of taken aback--I was so not expecting that and I don't know if I should just keep trying (I know Shirly is a great lady and maybe this was a fluke) or just give up on the whole idea. I have so little time left between now and when we leave and I figure the shops will all be closed for the holiday after tomorrow. It just didn't occur to me that calling at 3:45 om would be met with--we are too busy getting ready for Thanksgiving to talk to you

If I can do anything to help please let me know. Do you have access to a fax machine? I believe I remember seeing you can fax in orders too. I have also been asked to call back from them and I thought that was odd but I guess they get great business?
