I guess I'm just a little bit out of it this morning. When I replied somewhere up thread, I should also have included that one of my other cruises (the one to Canada) has a Facebook group set up. It's by invitation only, so no outsiders wander in by accident. If someone is willing to set that up, I'd be more than willing to join!

That's a GREAT idea Beth! I just tried to form a group, but I need to be able to add people already on my friends list to start it. Once I get a few of you who I have PM'd, I will get the group formed. I was just going to call it Disney Dream 12/4/2011. Does anyone have any better ideas, like the whole group name thing? Suggestions please!?

Ok, for those of you interested I have set up a FB group page for our sailing. It's a locked group, so in order to join you have to either friend me, or accept my friend request. I have sent out friend requests to those that PM'd me. So far our group is myself and TLinden16. LOL! Big group! I'm sure the rest will follow and hopefully newcomers to the thread will want to join in. No pressure, some of us just wanted to put a name to the face!

Karen89-You are right, I could not find you on FB. You will need to FR me to join the group!

Two things...if you send me a friend request on FB for the group, please PM here so I know that is who you are and can accept.

Second...Tonydana don't stress over the FE's!! It took me a long time to figure out ours and the idea only came to me when I was not thinking about it! I think we try too hard to please everyone. You don't even have to hand make something. You can buy stuff at the dollar store(which I plan for the kids!), simple candy, pirate stuff from the party store. Just don't make it too big or complicated. You want to enjoy the cruise! Not get wrapped up in the FE too much!! You are spending a lot of money to have a fabulous vacation with your family! The FE is supposed to just be an added bonus! So stop stressing!

I have posted the FE list on the first page. We are still planning to do the FE but are trying to finagle our way into the same room for both legs of our B2B. Anybody know any tricks that don't involve shelling out money to upgrade? I already tried emailing and they just told me what I already know, that neither room is available on both legs and to call a reservation specialist (which would probably require upgrading).
I'll pass on our cabin number once we run outta hope for a solution on the B2B.

I thought my daughter had put our names in for the FE but when I talked to her today, she said that she had not gotten around to it.

We had a little change of plans for our hotels. We still coming in on Tuesday. We are going to the Christmas Part on Wednesday cheaper DVC tix then on Saturday am we will go to Universal for the first time and stay at the Hard Rock. I am hoping to do Meers to get us to Universal and then to the airport the next day. Should be lots of fun.!

I know several of you are on the east coast and dealing with the intense heat wave we just had here in the Midwest. Hang in there and stay cool and hydrated...it's no joke, the heat. We are finally getting a short reprive today with the 80's and rain, but back to the 90's tomorrow. Stay cool!!

At 10 AM it was 95 degrees here. It NEVER gets that hot at the shore! The heat index is 111!!!! Yesterday was relatively cool. The heat index only got up to 101 ! Last night I decided to go to a movie on the beach (esp. since DH was running it). I live about three blocks inland from the ocean, and it was still well over 90 degrees at 8PM. Along the beach, though, it was actually chilly! We were huddled under blankets! I think I should move my office right to the beach. I wonder if they'd let me?

It has been cool here in the low 90's. We did not make it to the beach this week but yard work got in the way.

It's 105 now, which is down a degree within the last hour. The heat index is 117. It's just plain hot! Maybe I'll head for the beach again tonight as soon as it's cool enough to leave my house.

I feel your pain! Added to that, I don't have a crafty bone in my body, I have little spare time, and we're leaving on vacation 3 weeks earlier than the cruise so I really have a short window from the count-cut-off-date. I'm hoping one day a great idea will just come to me. I'll try not to stress about it unless Oct 4th rolls around and I'm still without an idea.
