Dec.29th 2013 4 nights on the DREAM

I didn't think I'd be able to do the FE this time around as I'm planning a surprise for the family, but opportunity presented itself and I'm in!

By my count my group is the 15th.

I just did some reformatting of the FE list. I *think* I have everything outlined right, although I got a bit confused around Kelly3kids' entry - Is the group above with you? The group below? Both? Neither?

Anyway, here's what I did:

1. Made sure each person has their own line.
2. Removed empty lines. This makes the line count the number of people + 1 (header line), so at this moment there are 64 people on the list.
3. added borders between each room
4. Added shading for alternating groups. (The shading is pretty light. Hopefully that works for all.)
5. Added some simple stats to the second page.

It may be good to double check I've captured your group properly.

i'm still a little confused how we tell who and what rooms get a gift package...maybe if someone can explain a little bit more how this works. I don't mean to be troublesome and appreciate any help. I get the idea of the FE and am looking forward to trying, but want to do it right.

Hi,

Some how ours was messed up. I didn't have it on the spreadsheet like it is now. We have 5 in our group. I am not sure where Marc Anderson fits in. Our group is Leah, Tyson, Aiden, Declan, and Tiernan. It looks like there are some names in wrong placed from people trying to add things and change things. I don't want to mess it up more but Marc Anderson may want to get back with it group. :)

Yikes! Sorry about that!

I was able to retrieve an earlier version of the sheet and cross-referenced it to the current one. Everyone is back in their proper place! (I found one other error too. oops. :( )

tokyodisneydad, when I did this on a previous trip the group was smaller - I think less than 10, certainly no more. Every family was in a single cabin. That helped make it easier, Some people gave single gifts for the whole cabin, some people gave gifts for each person in the cabin. We each gave gifts to everyone on the list.

Here we have severe people with groups split across cabins. I'm unclear myself if we should expect extenders at each cabin or not, except in the one case where it's mentioned.

Hi All,

It looks like we have 20 cabins and just over 60 people in the FE. My vote is for cutting it off at this point and starting a second one for anyone who'd like to join one later. It would let allow those of us that are making things to get started and have the right amount of supplies. Thoughts?

I think 20 is a good cutoff and if more come in then a second group can start. I know I can't do more than 20. I'm still a little confused a little though... How many of those rooms will have fEs hanging?

Hi! We would've loved to do the pen pal thing, but this cruise will be a surprise for my kids (10 son and 6 daughter), unless your kids want to write back and forth about other things, until the 23rd of December;). Are you all going to parks at all before the cruise? We leave on the 26 th for two days at WDW (for their first time!!!) as part of this big surprise!

My husband and I are going to do massages as long as we can get appointments. We had them on the Wonder in
Alaska and the spa was so incredible!

That's great! I'll PM you.

Swinney family on spreadsheet is fine! Thanks so much for putting that together! Clint & I will be in one and the kids (Brandon & Emily) will be in the other cabin. 9600 & 9602.

Can't believe it is getting so close!

We're all checked in! Got the port arrival time of 10:30 a.m. whew! One more thing checked off the unending list.

We got checked in too, early arrival as well....

Since this will be our 5th cruise with Disney and our 4th to Nassau, we didn't book any excursions. I'm not even sure if we will get off the ship unless it's to take our granddaughter over to the market to buy a straw bag perhaps.

Gosh, it looks like this group is just Face Book resistant. My cruise last summer had such an active FB page and we got to know each other so well over there that this is making me a bit sad....

Let the countdown begin!

Looking forward to meeting everyone. DW and I are brainstorming some FE ideas.

So, although it's a shorter cruise, who's booking Palo, Remy, spa treatments, etc.?

We will be staying on the ship in Nassau to explore as much as possible.
At least one meal in Palo. And possibly a cabana on CC.

What are you looking forward to?

Again, if anyone has children between the ages of 9 and 5, I would love to introduce my daughters to a pen pal.

:beach:
We will have our granddaughter Harper with us on this cruise, she is 5 and in Kindergarten. This is going to be her first Disney cruise and her 6th trip to WDW. We are planning on staying on board on Nassau day as well. We also tried for a cabana last night but they were all gone. Will be watching for one to come available as we get nearer to the cruise.

Hi there, this is what it's called: Dreamin' in the New Year 2014

Just put in a request to join and we'll be sure to get you added. :goodvibes

I have tried a search for groups of that name multiple times as well... Unsuccessfully! Help!!!

I can't join the FB group without giving away the surprise to all concerned. :( It's getting tough to keep the secret though! This has been in planning for over a year, and it's finally getting close!

I have Palo dinner on Pirates night... Two questions...
Is it true that whatever MDR u are scheduled in for Pirates night will be the restaurant u eat in on ur last night.
Also how long does Palo dinner take ? I don't want to miss Pirates night and/ or fireworks.pirate:

2 hours for Palo is recommended. But that depends on how you want them to pace it for your taste. They probably won't do fireworks on both pirate night and NYE I can't remember from last year but I am pretty sure they have a pirate party but no fireworks. Fireworks on NYE is a definite. Sorry cant answer your rotation question as after 11 cruises I have to say I don't pay attention to it :)
