I called on my Disney package yesterday and was gratefuly told by the UPS supervisor that even though it showed in San Pablo, CA (1 hour away) it was really sitting in Indiana odd how the website updates on what the think will happen instead of what really is happening. I then conferenced in Disney shopping and they (again gratefully) refilled my order again and shipped it to AKL, overnight at no extra shipping charges. That was some as this package is tshirts for all 18 of our family for our dinner one night. I'll believe in the magic when I get to AKL and my package is waiting for me

ok, now packing today and wrapping gifts for the kids and finishing Willie's scrapbook, wish me luck

OMG....GOOD LUCK with that...and here i've ALWAYS believed those website updates.....

last swim meet of the season - it was so bad - I just gave up and walked out - cried all the way home

Kara took my brand new camera cable about 6 - 8 weeks ago and it has totally disappeared - no cable - no camera - no trip of a life time pictures

Ok - just finished loading up the car. We leave at 500AM tomorrow and there is no weather issues (other than when we leave it will be in the single digits and with wind chill it will be below 0). So hopefully we will be at Disneyworld around 1200-100 on Monday afternoon.

Tigg - thank you very much for the T-shirt iron ons. I bought a few t-shirts today from Target and that is the only thing I have left to do this evening. I figure that wouldn't take more than 1/2-1 hour.

Marla - does the camera work without the cable? Is it something you need to charge up your battery? I'm sure your local Radioshack, etc. would have one easily available. It will work out and this time next week you will be enjoying the warm weather.

ATTENTION - for those doing the photopass share with me make sure you guys keep the card #'s and do NOT enter them on the photopass share (they have to be entered at the same time I apply the pre-purchased CD code). One tip I learned last time was to take a picture of the back of the photopass card with the ID so if you lose the card you still have the #'s for me to enter.

ATTENTION - for those going on the private Grand Cayman Excursion we are meeting at the Promenade Lounge at 845AM the day of. Then we will disembark and meet up with the NativeWay representatives no later than 915.

For those going to the DVC Merry Mixer - Shannon actually brought up a good point. Do we think Epcot could reach capacity that day? He just doesn't want to miss our 4:05 Le Cellier ADR because we can't get back into the park. I'm also worrying about cutting it close as it is to get back to Le Cellier by our ADR time. If I don't make it please don't hate me - you will get plenty of me on the Cruise (especially if alcohol is involved).

sorry - just reallly down in the dumps here - the cable is what the camera uses to down load pictures to laptop

wasn't planning on bringing my laptop as it is bigger and heavier but Kara has broken her disk drive on her lap top - grrrrr

we have a bunch of cables but the 'hole' in my camera - which is only about 2 1/2 months old - is really itsy bitsy tiny

just ignore me - I am past the panic mode here

Thinking of you all, especially Anjelica since she's leaving tomorrow. I have to make this quick, I'm running out the door. Marla, I know the panic mode you're in. I've been feeling more stress than excitement and I hope it changes. In my case, its because I have to leave my dog, I've been crying every night over it, I know I'm ridiculous. Mel is great with him and I know Brian will be ok.

Ok - This will be my last post before our trip. No one should panic - its normal as its a trip we have all been planning for over a year. The excitement grew and grew and now even I am nervous - more so about it being over so quick. But if we all take a deep slow breath and let it out - know it will be a wonderful trip for all of us. (I'm going to cry now - thanks Aisling you started it).

I want to wish everyone a safe and happy Holiday season. Enjoy Christmas with your loved ones (even if they drive you nuts - hence our reason for going to Disneyworld for Christmas this year). These trips are one of the small things we do to make life just that much sweeter. Thank you Mickey Mouse!!!!

Anjelica,

I'm sure Epcot would not close to capacity, it is a huge park and would be the last to do so. The busiest day at Epcot would be New Year's eve and I do believe we have other plans for that evening. Just ask at the turnstiles before exiting just to ease your mind.

I think we are leaving tomorrow to stay at hotel close to the airport (about 120 km's from our house). It is still calling for snow here Sunday afternoon and evening. We are still praying for no flight troubles.

Marla.....most camera cables are interchangable...i have 4 cameras - 2 canons, 1 nikon & 1
cant even remember....the cables USUALLY have the same connectors...no worries...they are very easy to replace...don't stress...deep breaths.....& YES we will see you next Sat!!!!

Whoa there Sparky! I'm guessing it's just a regular old 'Big USB' to 'Little USB' cable (sorry to get so technical). Just take the camera into anyplace that sells cameras and get a replacement. Should cost all of $5. $10 if it's a proprietary cable. Don't fret!

Thanks, it has started snowing here so we are leaving for the airport hotel within the hour. It is calling for 10-15 cm of snow followed by rain, 4 degrees C in the morning, we are still have positive thoughts about arriving to Orlando on sched.

I am not taking my laptop with me, so unless I see a computer on my way I will see you all sometime in the next week.

I feel your pain, literally. Last night I started really feeling the stress too. My left arm goes into spams and then I got one in my lower back. At that sig I went to bed and watched the 1st disc of Nip & Tuck. Removing my brain from my present life. Today I'm better, but I'm comitted to packing all today. I still have (want to) finished Willie's kart scrapbook for Xmas, that will be Monday's job.

It's hard to leave a new pet. Take a picture or 12 of him for on your camera so when you need him you can see him.

Nice Casey story here...Yesterday I found an old movie that a friend made of us at the beach in Half Moon Bay, and Casey was in it. The movie is from when Molly is 5 and Willie 2, about 6+ years ago. Can't believe how cute and little my kids were and man I cried when I saw Casey running and happy on the beach. I miss her. This is the first Christmas without her
