Dec 27/08 NYE Western Cruise - Really New Thread

I looked up your reservation and this is what you are booked on. It is an inflatable cruise ship, so the walls will be nice and soft which will be safe for you since you are "losing it".

Oh ya, you might want to get there early, because I think you have to help blow it up.

That's pretty good - I didn't put 2 and 2 together when I heard about the walkways being damaged and that it would affect where we board the ship. That seems pretty strange though that they don't have "extra's" or that it takes that long to fix.

i think i'll do our door signs this weekend along with ordering Ry's tux, start packing & whatever else normal boring life throws at me....
no docs from TA yet....but guess it is still just a tad early....

Mini rant

Kara's high school swim team coach at last month's meet the team night stressed that the swimmers were to attend at least 2 diver meets this season in order to make the divers feel more like that they belong - no problem

Kara got home last night and said first dive meet was at 7:30 and that attendance was mandorarty - ok - we rush through dinner and such and I get her down to the pool that was hosting the meet

Kara was the only swimmer from the team there - geesh louise

and were where the other 99 or so swimmers ????????????

ohhh that's nice...and pretty much like the fall sports banquet only 6 of the 60 football players showed up....true some are now playing BB & there was a scheduling conflict with a BB game, but there are still alot of players not playing a winter sport that didn't come last night - i was so SAD!!!! especially the seniors - only 4 of the 14 srs came....

Yes - i thought they would too but then just found there was a huge test that they needed to study for...i guess Ry studied for awhile after school - hope he ace'd it...he usually does in that class so gues im not too worried...

I agree w Kara - that's pretty unfair she was the only one....

Today is Paul's bday, we are going to have dinner together at Buca d Bepo (sp) we have a ressie to sit in the kitchen, thought it would be fun but dinner is at 8:30 that's ok on the cruise since we are 3+ hours ahead, but hard for us here since the kiddos will be starving...wish us luck

We are also going to get our Santa pics this evening, see I'm not a bad mom

Yes Maam...GNO at the BEACH for sure!!! Did you see we got that extra Sunday night...so you can stay as late as you want on Sunday or even stay Sun night & go home Monday a.m.!!!!

I like those Mickey ears for the stateroom door. I know I have the dimensions somewhere, but all of a sudden it feels like I have no extra time to make them.

After going back and forth a hundred times, it's final that we're renting DCL tuxes for my guys. To take their suits, we would need two garment bags to fit the suits and the formal dresses, in addition to the regular luggage. I cancelled my massage and seaweed wrap (Yes lol I was going to be wrapped in seaweed!), and those cancellations were about enough to pay for the tuxes. I really didn't need the massage, as I go regularly anyway for a lot less $$$.

I'm thinking of dressing up as a pirate dude instead of a pirate chick, just for the fun of it. So I won't be needing that pre-cruise lip wax afterall.

My gym trainer called today (I haven't gone in over a week) and he told me if I don't come in every day from tomorrow until the day before I leave for Florida, I'd better stay in Cozumel and don't come home.

Tomorrow I have to have my purple formal dress altered, as it's too big. Nan, I'll be needing you, Brenda and Louise to help squash me into my spanx that night! Don't worry, I don't have a shred of modesty!

Tig, I'm getting so sad that you aren't going.
