yeah they were great years....ones we don't truly appreciate until they are LONG GONE! My parents didn't take me to DL either....but my grandparents did when i was 14! Spent a week in Vegas & a 2nd week in Anaheim with them....it was very special & it's because of that trip i live in Calif!!!

Our currency has taken a beating over the last couple of months. We are right around 81 cents today, we were as high as $1.10, but our dollar travels with the price of oil. The lower dollar is great for our local Christmas tree and lobster exporters, not so good for Disney vacationers.

Kelly got accepted to her top 2 college choices. Both offered her a very nice scholarship! The college of her choice wants her to come for an interview for a possible full scholarship or at least more money than they are offering her now. I am so proud of her!!!

Sorry everyone, havent really been in the office much this week... Today I am here for a full day though..

The FE we are going to do a schedule, I havent made it yet, but will shortly.. I was thinking spreading the magic out for the whole week would be cool and well.. MAGICAL!!

Kelly, my Brian is doing better, but OMG he loves hugs. He's feeling better, but going for nebulizer treatments twice a day at the vet's is starting to get on my nerves, especially when someone told me I could have just put him in the bathroom with the steam from the shower for 10 minutes twice a day. He hasn't coughed at all in a couple of days now, and is eating like a little piggie.

Kelly, if you don't mind me asking, what do you mean when you say you're "out in the field" for work? I'm imagining all kinds of things!

Tig, I so wanted you and Brit to come up for Jesse's show, but all three nights are completely sold out. They don't even have any held-back complimentary tickets left. Chad and Louise are in Boston for Chad's presentation of his paper for the NEastern Political Science Conference, and I was all set to tell you I have tickets for you. But Chad said he'll be driving home Saturday afternoon directly after his presentation in order to make it to the Saturday night show. Anyway, I don't want to get crazy over this, it's been so hectic already. But you have to come up soon to see Brian! Brit, too!

I'm watching the news about the terrible wildfires in California. Those firefighters are amazing. I hope they all stay safe.

in the field.. lol.. I go out to School Districts and review their policies and procedures in Accounting, to make sure they are handling the money we send them correctly. Nothing very glamorous. Yesterday it took me 2.5 hrs to get to the District. Needless to say, I am a bit ticked w/my boss for sending me so far. Also come to find out, over so many miles away, I am eligible to stay over so that I am not doing all the driving in one day.

So Mel hogs the doggy he didnt want.. Isnt that the way!!!! LOL
