Has anyone been to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? My best friend and I are going together, as a girls-trip. She and I are both a kid at heart, and we were thinking about going to the Christmas Party, but I just wondered if anyone had any thoughts on it, for two 20somthing Disney Girls!

My mom (55) and I (22) did Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this past December and it was AWESOME! It turned out to be our favorite part of this trip. We loved the special shows, the parade, and the special Wishes. We also loved how there were so many more characters out (like the hard to find Alice-my favorite who I finally got a picture with) and how the lines were so much shorter for the rides. I think especially for "kids at heart" this is a must!!!

I am already planning our next trip in December 2009! We will be staying at PoP again from Dec. 18th-23rd!!! I can't wait!!!

Planning my Dec 09 at POFQ! This will by my first time at WDW while the Christmas decorations are up, and I could not be more excited! I was there this past year while the Halloween decorations are up, and it was amazing! Has anyone been to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? Yep DH and I went to our first MVMCP and loved it and we are planning on returning this coming Dec. We are both 40 something and MVMCP was the highlight of our trip.

As long as DH can get off we're going in early Dec 09. We'll know in a few weeks. Anyway, our plan is to keep it a total surprise from the kids. We'll pack when they are asleep. We'll get up and head to the airport but not say where we are going. I know it won't be long though for DD to find out. After we're there for a few days, we'll tell them we have to go home, but we'll actually be heading out for a Disney cruise! Then, after the cruise, they'll think we are going home. Daddy will have to home, but the kids and I will head back to the parks for a few days. DD keeps asking us when we'll go again and we say at least 2 years so she will be so happy.

Just an FYI.. we usually find Alice in England at Epcot. Check there if you don't see her at MK and would like to see her again.

I have booked our trip for DEC 6th-11th. I am finally staying at Contemporary resort, tower with a themepark view!!! soooo excited. Has anyone else stayed in a similar room? Is the monorail noisy???

My family is headed to WDW Dec 13 and staying until the 19th. We can't wait to not only be at Disney but to have the magic wrapped up in the Christmas spirit.

My DH, myself & my D-Sis will be going Dec. 11 - 19 and staying at Pop Century Resort.

While we were at WDW this past Sept., I told my DH that I would love to be able to come at Christmas. He said that maybe we would be able to come back in three years.

Then Disney came out with the awesome deal for military so I carefully approached him with the fantastic deal that we couldn't pass up.

I booked us for Dec. 19th -24th at POR.

I have never planned a trip this far in advance before.

We'll be there December 13-18. SO EXCITED to see The World at Christmas!!!! AND--to make it that much more exciting, we are staying at the BWV! I realize to some, this may be no big deal...but we are a couple who has always stayed Value and now we get to experience the beauty of walking to a park rather than using the bus.

Hm...or I wonder if they will offer the free dining plan. The past two times I've gone they've been offering the free dining plan, and it has been awesome.
My dates are Dec. 3rd-8th (tentative). I am soooo excited to see the park all decorated for the holidays.

We are going to be there December 5 - 12, 2009. I am very excited. This will be our first trip where not only are we taking our children (daughter 9, son 2) but also my mom will be flying down to meet us for the week. So we chose one of the family suites. I have never been during the holiday season and I am a Christmas fanatic, so I am sure I am going to be giddy as a child in a candy store.

Last June we stayed in the Family Suites and it was perfect for us... decorated our window with souviners and pictures and updates about our days there... Loved all of the All Star Resorts... 10 months left and counting!!!

Looks like we are going to have a few overlapping days! We are also staying at POFQ for the first time, and so excited! Our dates are Dec. 3rd-8th.
