My favorite was divorce Barbie, she came with half of everything Ken owned.

Did Ken even have anything?! You know Barbie wore the pants in that relationship! I mean with all her professions and all. She just dumped Ken for another boytoy, Blaine I think his name is/was. A surfer from Australia, Barbie had a mid life crisis.

I'm with you Ty! I refuse to do anything Christmas related until after Thanksgiving. Nope! I like giving each holiday it's time, it's only fair. Once Christmas hits though I'm all over the place with Christmas stuff . I even wear my santa to work as soon as December hits. I know a lot of people really dislike Christmas and get stressed about it, but I'm the one singing "It's the most wonderful time of the year!"

It's near impossible for me to OD on Christams too!

Can't promise not to look, but I won't buy anything. I can't believe people ask for Christmas stuff though. I've heard the same things as you though, but who knows. I too think it's a money thing, but ok whatever the retail places want to think.

Pretty soon they'll be putting out Christmas stuff in July and the saying "Christmas in July" will really be true!

ILMICKEY you didn't like my new font? It was much easier to read. I think my eyes are getting old, they don't seem to work as well as they used to.
I hear ya on the saving every penny thing, I even stop to pick them up off the street now, before it was like, "o, it's just a penny" and I would walk over it. Now it's like, "OOOOH, a penny, yes!" and I pick it up.

I could really go for a chicken dinner at Zenders right now.

Lifelong Dreamer I love the cheese shop, and the old fashion candy store, (it has the doll houses in the back) and the fudge shop. Have you tried the lavender mints? they are so yummy!

LurrvtheDuck yeah, I guess barbie didn't get too much in that divorce, she probably ended up having to pay Ken alimony. If anything Ken was the one entitled to the mid life crisis. That would make for a good doll, and they could even call it mid life crisis Ken, he should suffer from male pattern baldness and have a slight beer gut, and he would come with a sports car and a doll half his age for arm candy. That doll would come from the clueless line and be Barbies target for verbal attacks.

Christmas does not stress me out, I panic if it comes too fast because I want that Christmasy feeling to last a long time, I guess I could compare it to a Disney trip coming to an end.

I have not tried the lavender mints before. I will have to make a note of it so that I remember to try them.

You know, when I wrote in my new red font it wasn't as big as it is showing now, it was a little big and now all of a sudden it is of epic size, how did it go and get so big all of a sudden? Cripe! everything looks bigger, is it just my eyes?


Ok my trip to the beach never happened, it kept getting pushed back and it happened again for this Saturday. But...I am going to Hershey Park. One of the cheer mom's from Red Lion is having her kids party there, when she called to invite Reese and give me the details we got to talking and she asked if I would go with her to help keep track of 10 teeny boppers. I was like heck yeah! She was so excited because she is new here and didn't know of anybody to ask and she thought from seeing/hearing me at the boosters that I seemed nice, and I told her, "yes, I am very nice, I am one of the nicest people I know." so I have me a trip all planned. Once again anybody wanting a postcard just PM me.

I am more excited about making a new friend than I am about Hershey Park, cause really, I am going to Disney so no other park does it for me. But I try and make at least one new friend a month, this is a banner month for me cause I made 2 new friends, so next month is covered I guess. Well actually I lost a friend this month, I didn't vote the way she wanted me to at the last Cougar booster meeting and now she quit talking to me, bummer too cause we have been friends for 4 years. Oh well!

So I will be giving a mini trip report on our Day at Hershey.

Can you believe that the factory is right there but you still pay 2 bucks for a candy bar in the park, and all you have to do is go down the street to the dollars store and you can get 4 for a buck but people still pay the 2 dollars? it's insane!!

About me losing my childish friend, it's funny cause I had talked to her about taking a trip to disney with me in the future and she said nope, I don't ever want to go, don't bug me about it again. I should have known right then and there that this friendship was doomed. She has been behaving so childishly, she goes out of her way to let me know she is ignoring me, I find it amusing.
I mean honestly, she quit being my friend because I didn't do what she wanted me to. It came down to what is best for Reese in her cheerleading career, the vote passed 8 to 3 so obvioulsy other moms were thinking of their own kid as well. Basically we all voted to allow the younger girls to try out for the senior level comp squad instead of making them cheer at their own age level.

Hey, changing the subject here, Last night I saw the Disney commercial advertising their halloween celebration, I got all excited, I can't wait for the commercials advertising their Christmas festivities. What is it about their commercials that make you feel like you are floating right out of your seat?
I can't wait to go. somedays I am like cool I am going to Disney, and other days I am bouncing off the walls and screaming into pillows because I cannot contain my excitement.

I KNOW! I haven't seen the comercials yet but I am constantly scoping out the Travel Channel to see if anything Disney is on. Of course I HAVE to do it when no one is at home. But I totally understand what you mean!!

I sure will! I already have some Disney ornaments, just not a lot. I will have to look around some stores when I go to the States in two weeks and see what is available. There are probably some good ones at Bronners. I remember that had Disney stuff last year.

Oh, you are gonna hit pay dirt at Bronners!! They had some muppet ornaments at Walmart today, but that was about it.

Take lots of pictures of all the disney stuff at Bronners please, I would love to see it all. Last time I was at Bronners I wasn't quite into my Disney fanatic stage.
