Dec. 2, 2007-4 night Wonder and MouseFest Cruise

We're arriving on the 28th early. Need to get a few days in the park and take in the whole disney christmas before heading to the port.

Michael, Macaroni Grill has to be my favorite back home eatery, I just can't give up my Le'Cellier seating, even for Italian.

Marilyn, I know how you feel, it seems like it's comming so fast and there is so much to do. Otherwise I would leave now, no worries, grab my camera, a toothbrush and the clothes on my back. Disney here I come, everything else is just details.

Tom pirate:

We're also coming in the 28th, in the evening. We're doing a night in Pop Century then 3 at the Poly (part of Land/Sea). We found the AAA rate at the Pop to be unbeatable. Granted it's not the Hyatt but at least we'll be on the resort and the kids will be able to swin in a Disney pool.

I had the Shrimp and Chicken Scaloppine at Macaroni Grill. Excellent!!:thumbsup2

Hey guys. Just wanted to share this with anyone that it may assist...
They released room only discounts today. I once again (for the 10th time) switched my resort to the Pop for Dec 1. I am only paying 59.00 for it (before tax). So I am now going to be joining Marilyn at the pop the night before the cruise. I am still staying at CSR after the cruise as I received a phenomenal rate for that with a package.

Ah Kim, we are at POR before the cruise and POP after!! We got that rate for POP too - brilliant isn't it?

These are the times when I really wish we had a few more vacation days available. It's all sounding so good!

Oh man, I am so backwards. For some reason I was thinking you were there before. Whoops. I'm so glad you were able to apply also. :goodvibes

Where did you get that room rate?:thumbsup2

The Disboards! LOL, there were a couple of threads about it. The discount code I used was CCF, you can only apply the discount by calling in.

Is the CCF rate only at Pop, or is it good at any other Value resort?

We have $65 AAA at All Star Music, but I'll save a few dollars wherever I can.

Are there any qualifiers to CCF or is it a public rate?

It is good at all the Values, their are no qualifiers as far as I know, it is a public code. Good Luck

Just call the 407WDisney?

I am paying 92 at Allstar music and I would love to pay 59. I'm calling them tomorrow
thanks for the info

Yep, that is the number. Make sure you give your self plenty of time, it's usually a pretty long wait on the weekends.

It is great to hear every one is getting good deals.

Michael, I am all with you and the food. Last time we ate at Bistro de Paris was a few years ago before the candlelight processional. You and Marc should have a wonderful meal.

Our weekend has been spent trying to decied if we are doing MVMCP before or after the cruise.

Tom pirate:

We're doing MVMCP the day we get back from the cruise, on the 6th. It worked well for us last year. We got off the ship and back to WDW by about 8 am... VERY fast. That gave us time to grocery shop and check in to our villa, spend some time at Downtown Disney and then show up late afternoon for MVMCP. We plan to do the same this year. It made for a long long day, but fun!

Wow, it IS only two months, isn't it? I'm glad I have a good portion of my Christmas shopping done! I know that once I got back last year after the cruise and time at WDW afterwards, it seemed like Christmas was here in nothing flat. There wasn't enough time to get everything done then.

Morning, Marilyn!

Just think, 2 months from today and we're pulling into Nassau for either a leisurely day on board or a nice visit on land!

Michael

I really can't believe that it is coming up so soon. That leisurely day is driving me crazy. I still don't know what we want to do. I am the type of person that plans every day and this day has me stumped. I guess we will just go with the flow. :hippie:

Yes, do get in tune with your hippie self: :cool1: :hippie: :grouphug: :upsidedow
It's fine to plan (I do it myself) but always with the possibility in mind that the plans will be dumped in the trashcan for something more spur-of-the-moment.

Life's an adventure! Enjoy it! pixiedust:
