I set our alarm for 7:30 to be at PPH for the Lilo and Stitch Breakfast we had reservations for at 8:30am. DS and I woke up at 5:30am so we headed downstairs about 6am thinking the pool was open then, but it wasnt it opened at 7am, and they wouldnt let us go in early. So and DS and I ate some food about 6:15 figuring it was another 2 hours till we officially ate so we might as well have something now, I was hungry. We ate leasurly till I realized I had forgotten to take some medicine. Bummer I woke the rest of the crew doing this, but went back down and ate some more. Till the pool opened at 7am, then went swimming. My Dad and Niece joined us while my sister got ready. We left the pool at 7:30 and took baths, and barely made it out to our car at 8am. Once my sister figured out where to park, we got into the breakfast after a bit of a wait. It was awesome. You do not have to pay the full all you can eat breakfast price. My DS and I split a Mickey waffle and a fruit platter, and we couldnt eat it all. My Dad was the only one that ate the all you can eat breakfast. My sister had the omlette crossiont sandwich and niece had the mickey pancakes from the kids menu. Everything was yummy. The service was good but a bit slow. The characters we saw were Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Stich, Lilo, and Pluto. They were all great, and came to our table. Minnie and Stich came a few times. Minnie and Stich were awsome with my DS. Minnie sat right by him and kissed him and drew a couple hearts on his menu. It was heart filling. Stich stuck with him and tickled him and played a bit. My DS was very shy but loved them. My niece learned how to hula, and also played lost island similar to musical chairs but with Islands. Stich played with them. It is a definate must do. With doing the PPH breakfast we didnt have to use our park days to access it either!
Since we had already gone swimming we didnt go after our breakfast like I had thought we would, instead we needed to pack, so my Sister and I packed while the kids played and Dad napped. Were were outta there about 11:45am or so. We checked out and headed to DTD, in our rental car. Father, Sister and Niece left us at the entrance and DS and I went into the lego store, while niece tried to get into LibbyLu, but the opening was at 2pm (too late for us). DS and I then stopped and got him the much desired popcorn (He kept falling asleep everyday before I got buy some). I had written down the few stores I wanted to visit, including Build a Bear (which total cost was about $65 with the $10 bear, boots, mickey mouse outfit, shorts, build a bear tee-shirt, diapers, tool belt, and bug catching gear). I had planned for it being the big purchase for DS so wasnt astounded at the cost, however my nieces cat total was about $110, she got many outfits and a pillow. Then I went to Holi-Poli, and Island Charters, I saw something I would buy if I was rich a model airplane signed by Charles Limburgh.. for my DH ($275). I then booked on down to World of Disney as that was the last store on my list. I bought a few more charms, and lollipops shapped like mickeys that DS had wanted the whole trip.. to put into his stocking.. along with a small tinkerbell (For him to hold ). We left DTD about 1:45 or so. And heading up to Alamo, found it easily and everyone was nice. But when we got off the Alamo shuttle at LAX, what a fiasco, with people that didnt know how to do E-check-in .. lots of kiosks open with no one there! Then renting a rolling cart, and not being able to take it thru the security. Then change in pockets of DSs and my pockets, a belts I FORGOT. Too much to deal with and remember with kiddos. Then the roll of quarters in my luggage. WHEW. Then after we got dressed again, I left tickets on the table. But I remembered after a few feet. And grabbed them, and someone got us a cart! Finding the gate was simple but not much seating, not as spacious for the amount of people like PDX. Anyway we spent a few hours there, got food, and shopped a bit, then onto a plane with the tiniest aisles I have seen. My roller case wouldnt fit, sideways, and I wouldnt fit sideways with my backpack! Anyway I tried not to kill anyone and made it. The kids were ok on the flight except DS had to use the bathroom twice, and the second time he was overtired and wanted to take off all his clothes, and the stewardess was right outside the bathroom with him screaming .. ugh. But we made it back to our seat and he fell asleep. He slept from the airplane to waiting, to the shuttle to the Embassy Suites in Portland. Woke a bit when I put him into the car, then slept all the way home!
Well that is about it if anyone has questions just ask!
