Dec 09 PTR The Molecular change is in full swing. pg40 the pink puppy

You could definately drive in the HOV lanes with those babies, they look so real!! I know I'm a little late with the x-mas decorations in the south comment, but I think the reason they go all out down in the south is that they don't have to freeze their hineys off taking down the decorations in Jan. If it was still 70 degrees here in Jan I'd put out alot more stuff too!
So true. I wore sandals and t-shirts all last winter... never even got a jacket out of storage, much less a coat. :rotfl:

Just remember that we pay during the summers, when it's 110 degrees in the shade and so humid that you walk out your front door and instantly feel gross. ;)

I saw that show too on BBC. Those people are the real nut jobs!!!

You're babies are adorable! Sorry, but Reese is by far my favorite you've made too :)

Here's Madi as Dumbo, as requested.

Seriously??!! Those babies look eerily real! They are adorable! Soon your son will be taking them for walks in the park to pick up girls!!! LOL You know what they say...girls are suckers for a guy with a cute baby!!!

LOL I think I am just an all around a sucker for any baby. And really is there any ugly babies out there!?!?! I keep threatening Greg that I'm going to come home with a little fru fru dog to tie me over until we're ready for babies. My friend has a little furry thing and every time I'm at her house I pick up that dog and walk around with it like it a baby! I've got problems! :lmao: But out beast is a little too big for that (50 lbs too big!) but now I think I've found an alternative!!!

Madi as Dumbo is adorable. Look at that face!!! I just want to squeeze her cheeks and tell her to say "Chubby baby" (come on I'm not the only one who has done this right!?!? :confused3 )

Wow. I can't get over those fake babies. Anne Geddes would kill for these. Maybe she's been using these fake babies all along... Or maybe she always has and I'm just a dummy :confused3

Do you ever sleep disneyaddicted? I see you post at 12am, 3am... then 6am...Sigh I wish I could be a night owl. Having to wake up at 8am makes it kinda hard. Hope my DBF will start raking in some money so I can be a SAHW (stay at home wife :lmao: )

LOVE Madi in the Dumbo costume. ADORABLE!

Ty is the only person who I regularly see posting in the middle of the night with me. I work third shift at hotel, so I'm usually on the Dis all night long.

Speaking of which, it's 2pm! I should go to bed!

You poor thing. Well, I don't know. You might enjoy working the nights but I would find it very hard working when other people are normally at home in bed. I used to work at a pharmacy that was open until midnight. I wouldn't get home until 12:30am-1am. Almost never saw my family, especially when I worked several nights in a row. I would leave before they came home from their day at work and come home again when everyone was asleep! Now being a TA, I'm actually home at a reasonable hour.... to be up all night on the DIS of course :surfweb: :cutie:

I'm so jealous, I've wanted to be a TA (specifically, a Disney-specialized TA) for years but have absolutely no clue how or where to start. :confused3 I love being in the travel & tourism industry, I was with AirTran Airways for 4 years before I went back to hotel hospitality.

I actually love the night shift. :rotfl: I've always been a night owl my entire life. And right now, having no kids and being in a long-distance relationship, it actually works out very well. :cutie:

I'm not sure if it's different in the States (most likely it is) but you must have some form of Travel and/or Tourism experience or education. Since you worked for AirTran, you may have a good chance of getting in. You could always walk into an agency and ask what is needed to become a TA. I love the job! Not every client is a Disney client but whenever one comes along, their eyes nearly pop out of their sockets with all the information I throw at them :rotfl: You should look into it if you are interested. That is, if you are tiring of the hotel scene. I tried the hotels and it never was my thing. Mainly the people I worked with were the problem :snooty: <--- That pretty much sums up what they were like. What matters most is that you're doing something you enjoy :goodvibes

I like what I do, actually! I just would like it better if it had benefits and travel perks. :rotfl: And more trip planning, less sitting around babysitting a lobby.

Sorry for highjacking your thread, Ty. :rolleyes1:hug:

Ty, those babies are amazing!! I'm still in shock that they arent real!! See, I said you were great at crafts!! And making cute babies too, Reese is adorable :cutie:

That makes perfect sense. I think that's why alot of people actually leave their decorations up around here until Spring. There's nothing worse then driving down the road in February and seeing Christmas decorations surounded by yucky brown snow.

Sounds like my days in El Paso Tx. One christmas morning we had the fans on it was so warm, then I went outside to rollerskate (thanks Santa) wearing shorts and a T-shirt. At least it wasn't real humid though. We could find relief in the shade.

I saw that show too on BBC. Those people are the real nut jobs!!!

Reese is my favorite pretty baby too. I wish she could have stayed a baby, she was a good baby too, slept through the night (9hrs) at 3 months.
I love this picture of Madi. OMG! She is so cute. Tell me that one is framed and hangingin your living room.It is so dear.

:lmao:Jim has never mentioned it, but DH has.
Reese has to do a study in one of her classes on human reaction, so her and her boyfriend are going to do the project together. They are going to take my fake baby Noah to the mall and be "teen parents" they are supposed to record peoples reactions.

I love babies, all babies. I think that's why I love my little Falula so much, (Chihuahua mix) she's baby size and just loves to cuddle. I never though I would have a fru fru dog, our dogs have always been big. St. Bernard, Rottweiler mix, German Shepherd. But I guess it doesn't matter any more, I just love dogs too.

No, I never sleep, maybe 3 or 4 hours in a day. My sleep habits are all messed up. I am not used to being home all the time, It finally got to me, I am so lonely during the day that I sleep. Then I end up wide awake all night. So I Dis. (computer is faster at night anyway) But I start physical therapy tomorrow, I purposely made a mid morning appt so I wouldn't sleep all day. I have to get this sleep thing straightened out.
I used to work 3rd shift at Walmart. I did just fine with it, but I would always get depressed when it was time to leave for work.
When I had my silk screen business I would go out to my shop (conveniently located in my garage) and run a job off while the family slept. It was ideal. But unfortunately the business was up and down, I'd go months without a job, then one month I would be overwhelmed and working around the clock to meet dead lines.

Don't even worry about that. My PTR is place for every one to hang out and talk about whatever.
I would love to stay up all night Dising and getting paid for it, that's awesome. I bet it helps the time go faster. Before I married the Beast I was in school for Airline reservation, I decided to switch over to travel/Tourism, then that all went south when the Beast broke his promise of sending me to school after we got married. I should have taken my parents advice, finish school, then get married. By the time I divorced him and met...then married Kent I had 2 little kids, 1 and 3. Kent took care of us so I could be a SAHM, the plan was to go back to school after the kids graduate, but now I am looking at College tuition for them. I'll be 44 when I get to back to school, still young in my mind. But for now I love my job at Bed, Bath and Beyond, I'm a very sociable person so working customer service is fun for me
I had a Disney nightmare last night. If you have ever read any of my past PTR's I usually start having them about this time. I will post it soon.

Ty, those babies are amazing!! I'm still in shock that they arent real!! See, I said you were great at crafts!! And making cute babies too, Reese is adorable :cutie:
Aw thank you.
Honestly I could have never made the dolls if it weren't for my friends help.
Thank you for your comment about Reese. I thought she was the most beautiful baby in the nursey. But that was just my opinion and my moms.

Marzi finally booked her flight. Originally she was supposed to get in at 9:12, now she gets in at 9:20am, my flight gets in at 9:10, so I am hoping I have enough time to get over to her her gate and meet her there. By the time we get down to ME and get in line, My mom and Janis should be taxiing in, and hopefully by the time they get down to ME I will have us all checked in and we can jst get on the bus and go. I am hoping to be at Pop by noonish. If the room is ready we will stash our stuff, freshen up and go, if not we will stash our stuff will bell services and freshen up in the Pop hall bathroom, then get on the bus to go.

Magic Kingdom is 1st on this list. I know I have posted this before. I am just fine tuning it now.

I'm sure we will be starved, so lunch will be first thing on the list. It's a toss up between Pecos Bill and Columbia Harbour House, I will be happy with either so I will let them decide.

I am estimating we will have about 4 hours to see the park before we have to take off to WL for WCC. I am nervous for this restaraunt. I will NOT wear my birthday button there, I don't want to be made to ride a stick horse around the place.

We'll probably just go back to Pop after dinner.

Our first full day at the parks will be an AK day. Like I said before, we won't be doing any thrill rides, so no EE for. Bless Marzi, she said she would take a dramamine in order to do the roller coasters if I wanted too. That's the kind of friend she is, but I am the kind of friend who understands, and would never ask her to take something on account of me. I want her to have a great time without being sick or tired.
This will be a day of shows and parades, of course we will do the Safari, and Marzi and I plan to do Dinosour. I'm a little worried about "It's tough to be a bug." Marzi passes out at the sight of big spiders. I know at one point they drop down above your head. I forwarned her and now she is a bit leary about this. I can't remember if they kind of give it away that it's coming or not. I'd like to be able to tell her to close her eyes, I'm just afraid I might miss the cue and Marzi will go down.

Lunch will be at Flame Tree Bar-b-que. probably about 1ish, I kind of want to hold out for a later lunch as inner isn't until 6pm.

So let's talk dinner. We'll probably leave AK after the parade, granted we get in all our shows. We'll go back to Pop for a little rest and refresher and the head to DTD to Planet Hollyood. This will probably the day we get our shop on (SHOUT OUT TO JoJo :woohoo:, I'll be thinking of you girl!)

We will probably just walk from Planet Hollywood back towards the stores, World of Disney Tren D, (never been to that one) Disney's Christmas store, Disney World of Memories and Goofy's Candy Co, to get some Yum Yums!!

Then we'll go back to Pop, depending on how old and rickety we feel will decide on what we do with the rest of the evening, although I am thinking it'll be around 10pm by then. I can't just lay down and go to sleep, I need to unwind. So We'll either play cards out by the pool, or we might just have a cup of coffee and Kaluha and then call it a night.

I'm so excited. Once Marzi called me with her flight info it set in just how real this trip is now. After everything that has transpired over the past 9 months and one of us at some point not being sure if we could make it...that's all behind us now.
All that is left to do is wait and dream. I try to imagine how awesome it's going to be, It'll be better then my imagination, I just know it.

OMG!!!! Ty, those babies are absolutely amazing. My goodness that is so cool.
Thank you, they are so mcuh fun to make, it's amazing to see them go from being a vinyl baby doll to looking so real. After each coat of paint you bake them in the oven and each time I took them out they looked more and more real, it go to the point I felt wierd about putting them in the oven because they looked so dang gummed like real babies.

:cool1: you plans are shaping up great! YAY for Marzi getting her ticket, it is SO real!!!

You know what... that picture is not blown up, but you're right, it damn well should be! Bad momma, I'll go sit in the corner... :sad2:

This is an old post from my other PTR, I'm bored so I will be doing some cutting and pasting again

Have you ever played that game "What would I do with a million dollars?" I love that game, I also like the "What would I do if I were invisible." game.

If I were invisible I would stand behind my ex husband at the bank and make loud fart noises. I am just immature enough to think things like this but mature enough to never actually do it, even if I could be invisible. But back to the million dollars.

Somehow we got on the topic today of somebody being awarded 320 million dollars in a law suit. It got us talking about what we could do with money like that. Of course you know it lead to Disney, it always leads to Disney. It started out with me buying property in FL, so I could visit Disney whenever I wanted. Well Kent doesn't want to live in FL. so he said he would stay here and get a girlfriend. 12

Me: Why would you wanna do that? we're not divorcing.
Kent: I aint moving to FL.
Me: We could have a long distance relationship.
Kent: Those never work.
Me: So you would divorce me!?!
Kent: I'd never see you.
Me: Well, yeah your girlfriend might get mad.
Kent: I'd only get a GF if you moved to FL.
Me: You wouldn't even try and make it work?, We'd be millionares! You could fly down and see me every week.

Kent:Then why don't you just stay here and fly down to florida every week?
Me: Would you go with me?
Kent: Maybe once a year.
Me: That's all? 1 time a year? Why not more, won't your girlfriend let you?
Kent: Leave her out of this, I just hate Disney.
Me: But what if your GF wanted to go to Disney, you would take her
wouldn't you?
Kent: My GF is into Nascar and fishing, not Disney!
Me: Where'd you meet her?
Kent: At an anti Disney social.
Me: Those are illegal, you could go to prison for attending those.
Kent: I'd rather go to prison then go to Disney.
Me: Well I am telling you right now, if you do end up in prison I will not
come visit you, but I will send you a post card from Disney. And by the way your girlfriend is a hag!!!!!

Sad thing is Jimmy had a friend over that day and had no idea that this is the norm for us, he really thought Kent had a girlfriend.

I can make Kent love Disney though.
Copyofjam042.jpg

See how easy that was?

I so wish I could use the smiley faces when I am on my cell, but I can't. If I could, you would see me rolling all over laughing hysterically! You are so funny! I am just loving this a little too much perhaps, because my coworker is down the hall and keeps hearing me chuckle and wonders what the he double toothpicks do I find so funny?
Oh,byw,I love your picture of Kent and how much he loves Disney World.I think I need to go do something like that to my dh....lol
Going back to read on,and no doubt have a few more laughs that I have to try to keep to a low belly chuckle for peace sake...haha.Don't be surprised if you hear from me yet again tonight,I love this! And you are making my long boring night pass a lot happier then I expected it would! Thanks!

YAY for Marzi booking her flight :woohoo: bet you are soooo excited now  <------ thats a picture of you when you were on the phone

Ahem, cough cough, what else are you doing at MK? * taps foot * :rolleyes1

;)

DH loves Columbia harbor house, so that's where we are headed for dinner on MVMCP night - never tried Peco's, heard they've got stools now rather than chairs, dont know if that will make any difference to you?! Just read it somewhere and thought i'd mention it - random tip of the day :lmao:

I know what you mean about not wearing your pin at WCC - if we end up booking there I wasnt going to wear our anniversary one's or add the celebration to the ADR :lmao: Chickens arent we

Aww bless Marzi, I totally feel her pain - I don't do too good with anything high, spinny, upside downy, or swishy - basicaly I dont do much :rotfl2: Think it's getting worse with age aswell :lmao:

Our AK plan is similar to yours, shows, food, parade, shops, safari etc... :thumbsup2

WOOHOO for the shopping shout out :yay: I started drooling when you mentioned those shop names, LET ME IN THERE, MUST SHOP, NOW, QUICK!! :lmao: Can't wait to go to Design a Tee and Tren-D - never been in them before :yay: But my fave is the christmas shop - Den says I spend hours in there, he normally finds a chair and sits and plays games on his phone :lmao: I could spend the rest of my life in there and I would die happy :rotfl2: On our last trip I found the magic in Aribas Brothers and Art of disney - had avoided them on the previous trip because they looked so expensive, but I had to go in this time and my jaw kept hitting the floor every 2 seconds - the stuff in those shops is stunning!! Den bought me a stitch glass that has got my name etched into it :lovestruc

This trip will be everything you hoped and imagined and more

I so totally know how you feel!!!!! It's so close, but so far away. Not really far away, but just the anticipation makes it feel so far away. This has been a long week for me. I feel like I've worked like a month straight but it is only Thursday morning!! Almost Friday!! I just keep thinking about how wonderful it will really be and then in the back of my mind I know it will be so much better!!!
