Dec 08 Waitlist thread

I started my day by dayreservation on Monday, May 5 (from my 1br at OKW ) My SSR reservations were made at the 11 month window for 12/4-12/14

Right now I have OKW Studio 12/4-12/6. Was told that OKW is sold out of studios for 12/7 & 12/8 and SSR is sold out of studios for 12/9. MS CM advised me to wait until May 14 to be put on the waitlist for my remaining dates. Because the waitlist is in the middle of the stay, they could not take off days in the middle. (or something that made a lot more sense yesterday than it does today).

Should I call and still get on the waitlist for 2 days and then start a new reservation at OKW for the remaining dates?

We already have a 2bdr @ SSR for 11/29 to 12/7, but we're waitlisted for BCV.

Well, the first night of my waitlist came through! I got a BWV pool/garden view 1 BR for 12/3. I only started this waitlist on Sunday (7 month window) so I am excited! Now I just need to adjust my other nights.

Well, I called today to see if a could move the first 1/2 of my trip to either BCV or BWV, plus get a villa for 12/7 on points. The only resort with a 1 BR available for all nights between 12/4-12/9 was SSR 1 BR. So I changed my AKV savanna view studio over to an SSR 1 BR. Plus I added waitlists for BCV and BWV. The CM asked if I wanted to change my 12/3 reservation over to SSR but I declined because no matter how the waitlist goes, I will get to try out BWV for at least 1 night. I still have an AKV reservation (savanna view studio) for 12/9-12/14. I won't call on that reservation until 5/14. So im summary, my reservations currently are:
12/3 BWV 1 BR pool/garden view
12/4-9 SSR 1 BR
12/9-14 AKV savanna view studio

My current waitlists are:
12/4-9 BCV 1BR, BWV preferred view 1 BR
12/9-14 AKV savanna view 1 BR

Trying to get AKV 1BR SV from 12/7 through 12/10 ... no luck, on waitlist since February.

Waitlisted today for 1BR at Wilderness Lodge from 12/7 through 12/10.

Never had a problem getting in at VWL during this period and I usually book later ... reading this thread is what prompted me to call.

Is it the influx of Developer points or something??

I'm waitlisted for 12/06 to 12/12 for a 2br vv (since jan 19) or 2br SV (since march 16). I currently have confirmed reservations for 11/30 to 12/06 for 2br VV and 12/08 to 12/12 in two ded studios and the 6 and 7th are cash in two studios!

I haven't even been reading this thread. So today DW suggests that a Dec weekend might be possible. Possibly the 3-7 or 4-7. We would need a studio. I am not very hopeful after reading this thread!

But I might call MS tomorrow anyway.

I have a WL cash ressie-so I know I have a ressie somewhere...but hoping the BWV comes through before December. I am hoping that someone on the list got my SSR ressie since the woman I spoke with said that there was no availbility for SSR and my cancellation(12/8,9,10,11) was going to the Wait List!!!

Sorry....yes my waitlist is for AKV but I have also today waitlisted for our whole visit at SSR...hopefully something will come thru!

We are currently waitlisted for a 1 BR Standard View at AKL for 12/2-12/5. We are booked in a 1BR at SSR, our home resort.

We were able to switch to AKL for 11/28-12/2 right at the 7 month window with no problem, so now we are hopeful this waitlist comes through. We are waitlisted day by day.

We also are waitlisted for Thanksgiving at AKL for a studio. Currently we are booked at POP.

Keeping our fingers and toes crossed as we have never had much luck in the past when waitlisting.
