We've got a 2 BR at SSR for 12/27-1/3, but are waitlisting for my DIL's for an SSR studio. Hopefully we get it soon. Anyone know the odds of us getting this? TIA!

I think your odds are getting better everyday. With fewer and more expensive flights, I think lots of waitlists are going to come through. Of course that is just my opinion

Add us to the list please! We are NEW DVC members and since we signed up well into the 11 month home resort booking time we of course got shut out for our home resort of AKV!

We are booked at SSR in a 1 bedroom and are on the waitlist for AKV for Dec. 14th - Dec. 22nd

Waitlists are SSR have been the most successful so far. So while I don't know the odds, I would say that you should have a good chance.

Very good point! Now that Southwest's flights have opened up for this time, it will be interesting to see if we see more movement in the waitlists. I already booked my flights for December and the rates at the time were only so-so, but it was so much better than the rates that I am paying for November.

WOOHOO.....Our waitlist came through for a VALUE 1 bedroom for Dec. 30 at AKV. Not sure I'm happy about the VALUE room, but it's better than we had...I may call back tomorrow and go back on the waitlist for a Savanna View so that we don't have to change rooms.

Still waiting on Dec 31, but it's starting to look up.

I tried at the 7 month window to book OKW for December 30,31 and Jan 1,2. We got wait listed for ever night. I have never had that problem trying to book those dates before. As posted with less flights and higher fares I am hoping the dates come thru. I have cash reservations as backup

I have such mixed feelings about this job...It is a postition that I want and really good money...But it means leaving the kids in the AM and not being able to go to Disney during the best times of the year...Now we will be tied to summers and school holidays...We are now planning on a July trip...We hate the heat and all the rain but we think it is the best choice out of our new set of options...

Lets just hope we get the one-bedroom savanna view at the AKL in July.

Yay!!! I got my last waitlisted night - Dec. 4th 1-bedroom at OKW. I hadn't checked since Friday afternoon, so not sure when exactly it came through, but I just checked tonight, and it was there.

I previously stated that I booked a one-bedroom at OKW Dec 20-23rd, but my sister could only get the 20th-22nd and was waitlisted for the 23rd.

I called and 8 one-bedrooms opened up at SSR for those dates, so we switched over and my parents were able to book as well.

So, we took 3 of 8 from SSR, but opened on 2 at OKW!

Well, for some reason, I can't log in to the Member website. So I am definitely going through withdrawal, not being able to check my waitlist. I think it got screwed up when I registered for the giveaway on Disney Family, but that is only a guess. I will have to call member services tomorrow to see if they can fix it.

I come into work every morning and while I am waiting for my equipment to warm up, I log onto MS website to check on my waitlist. EVERY morning I think to myself "OK, today is the day!" And sure enough, nothing. I then proceed to delude myself at least 4 more times thru the day thinking that something would have come thru. I need help.
