I know that rolling down the street feeling...

My kids - including the 18 year old... are horrified by the idea that they would be served by a "family member" who might tease them about finishing their meal before dessert... lol They're no fun...

I had to settle for a cocktail from the Lounge last week... I was able to take it out and over to the Osbourne Lights... which was actually lots of fun especially with the glow cube...

You really got some great photos of the PO... it is a very pretty resort... it does a great job evoking the South... so pretty...

Dinner at PTC looks delicious! I've been reading so many reviews of it in TRs lately that it really makes me want to go back there on our next trip. I want some fried chicken! And those onion rings looks delicious!

Looks like it was a really nice, leisurely evening. The resort pics are all beautiful - especially the fountain pictures.

A Disney's Hollywood Studios Morning​

Today we rose bright and early, Mom at 6:00am and me at 6:50am. We got ready and left the room by 7:25am.

Our message for the day!

We made our way to the food court for breakfast. We both had the croissant breakfast sandwich. This was pretty yummy! For Disney quick breakfasts, this was a very good option.

We made it to the bus stop by 7:55am. We were going to DHS this morning! We arrived at DHS a little after 8:20am, and got in line at the turnstiles. While we were waiting in line, a woman behind us asked us if we were on the Disboards! It was so surprising, but of course we said yes, and she said she noticed our Lime Green Mickey Heads on our bags! See, those do come in handy. We talked to the woman and her family for a while, and soon enough, the line started moving. There were no troubles with our passes today, thank goodness, and once we got through I took both tickets and took off!

Where was I going you ask? Well, TSM of course! I speed walked down the same boulevard we rolled out of just the night before. My 36” legs paid off, and I met back up with my mom at ToT after I scored these:

There was a line forming, but the ride didn’t open until 9:00am. While I was in line, I decided to play with my settings on my camera.

Once the ride opened, we walked right on. We were the first elevator of the day! Woo!

Yeah, it’s a horrible picture, but I was terrified of getting yelled at, so I made it snappy!

After our ridiculously fun ride in the Twilight Zone, we headed over to RnRC!

There was about a 20 minute wait which went by pretty quickly! We also had some great views!

We loved the ride SO MUCH, we wanted to ride again, but the wait time was too long! BUTTTTTTT, it was passed 9:50am, soooooo we got FPs!!!!!

It was time to use up our TSM FPs, so we made our way over to the Pixar Area!

Goodbye, beautiful! We will meet again in a few hours!!

I am a huge fan of ToT queue pictures, so I enjoyed each and everyone of yours. I never noticed that area of cracked tiles before. What a great touch. You also got some great shots of the inside queue. Taking pictures certainly makes the wait go so much faster.

I am terrible at TSM, too. Eandesmom kept smokin' me in October. It took me until this year just to break 100K, and even that's not consistent.

Great updates and a lot of terrific shots.

Firstly, congrats on the new apartment and getting to go kayaking every morning! What a way to start the day! The view looks great as well.

Love how you visited different resorts, it was nice going on the tour with you ;-) The pics of Pop Century bought back memories and I loved that computer key board as well!

The cars area of Art of Animation looks cool and mmm breakfast at MSB and a trip to Goofy's Candy Co= pure heaven!!!

I was sorry to read about the fiasco at MK with the turnstiles but glad you enjoyed your day at that park as well as DHS. Yay on riding ToT so many times! I absolutely love that ride!

Why doesn't Disney actually assemble breakfast sandwiches and melt the cheese? I do not understand that. Same thing happened with our breakfast flatbread and while it was pretty good, it would have been better all melty!

I Guess having long legs would help you in getting to the mad rush that is the running of the TSM madness... (Disney's own equivalent to the Running of the Bulls in Spain... It is a really fun ride though...

I love capturing all of the details in the different resorts! It's really fun...and free!

AoA is so amazing! I really want to see the rest of it, but the Nemo and Cars sections were just fanatsically done!

I'm glad things got figured out at MK, and we didn't have any other problems like that for the rest of the trip! Which is really great! I love ToT! It was so fun to do that! I love being able to just spontaneously jump in line!

VERY BIG NEWS

Hi everyone!! I am sooooo sorry about being MIA lately. I have a good reason, though! Things have been crazy around here between work, the holidays, and oh yeah, packing!

Packing? Packing what you say???

WELLLLLLL, the big news is that my Mom and step Dad are....

wait for it....

MOVING TO NAPLES, FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!!!

They have been looking for a while now, and my step Dad got offered a job a few weeks ago, and everything lined up perfectly. Things have been Ca-razy!!! Mom doesn't have a job down there yet, however she is sticking out the rest of the school year up here anyway in order to finish out her contract. Step Dad literally rolled out of the driveway for the last time THIS MORNING. We packed up the moving van, and he piled in with the dog, car in tow. It's about a 27 hour drive from here to Naples, but they are breaking it up into a few days. They have an apartment down there already, and step Dad starts his new job on Monday the 14th of January! This is just crazy stuff people.

If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook this is also a surprise to you because we are trying to keep it on the downlow up here until things get finalized and my Mom tells the principal. I have a lot of people from around here on those sites, so I didn't want to spill the beans!

So, this place is in Florida, but how close to Disney? This was, of course, the first question we asked, and it looks like about a little over 3 hours drive. Wayyyy closer than 24 hours! ALSO, they are right near the BEACH! I am so excited for them!

What does this mean for my future?

More trips to Florida (aka Disney) of course!! I can't wait! Mom is planning on moving down the couple days after graduation which is the 14th of June. Soooooo, she needs help driving! Sooooooo, that means a trip to Florida for my DBF and I!!!!! We're going to Disney again!!!!! We will drive down Mom's car while she drives the big moving truck. THEN, she will bring us up to Disney for DBF's FIRST EVER VISIT! I am beyond excited, and I can't stop planning!

I don't really know how to show him enough that he enjoys it, but not enough to turn him off! I want a good first impression! This is insane! If any of you have experience with a 21 year old first timer to Disney World, PLEASE give me some help!!! It would be MUCH appreciated!! Expect a PTR up sometime in the next week or so. I still have to get the ball rolling again on this one!! I promise the next few updates will be tonight!!

But seriously, if you have any tips on a first timer (21 year old, sporty, male, etc.) PLEASE give me some advice! Food, attractions, rides, parks, etc???

Especially if he sees how much you love it!!
