Debating to Epic Universe or not in 2025

Do you all think we would need a full day at Epic even if we bought EP for the day? Rope drop + EP + leave the park around 5 seems like we could get a lot done. Probably need more data that we'll get once the park opens in order to know this answer for sure.

The other option is to stay another night. What are the logistics like when changing from one Uni hotel to another on-site Uni hotel? Will they move the bags or do we need to take care of that? The most important thing for efficiency I think is to ensure we have a good RD spot so just trying to think through any obstacles to that.
moving bags is actually not too bad, we frequently switch hotels and just take an uber with our bags on switch day.

I could be looking at ticket prices incorrectly but unless I'm misreading it seems there are no good ticket deals that exclude Epic Universe after May 21st. Meaning we're paying for Epic even if we don't want to visit Epic. Am I overlooking this? If it's true then I guess we're just going to have to figure out how to work this into the trip whether we really want to or not.

(This is based on what I'm seeing available on Undercover Tourist)

It does seem that the deal like 2 days free end mid May on the Universal site as well - there are still 2 day 2 park tickets but not with the two free.

No idea what they may have for promotions in the future, but yeah the focus will probably be on Epic going forward.

Maybe we will see a 2 day + 2 days free and only one of the 4 days can be used at Epic.

Personally I don't like the structure with tickets at all as far as Epic goes - the 1 day at Epic really is not enough - but that seems to be the plan for 2025.

It looks like the next best pivot for non-epic might be to just purchase the base 2 park season pass, depending on number of days in the parks (we’re looking at 3). It’s more expensive than current promos but cheaper than what’s out there for multi-day tickets that now require epic.

Yeah - I pretty much always go with an AP - mostly for the room discounts which are very good - just be aware of any blackout dates and if they will affect your visit
