On an unrelated note, some of you may remember my campaign to have myself declared the Official State Symbol of New Hampshire <a href="http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?threadid=411045">After much soul searching...</a> my theory being, "hey why not?". Also "the Old Ran of the Mountain" has familiar ring and will comfort those in need of whatever it is Offical State Symbols are supposed to provide.
I've printed flyers and business cards, but so far no pamphlets, I'm thinking of moving into the pamphlet arena if the license plate phase of my campaign fails.
My license plate strategy involves you folks putting fake Old Ran of the Mountain license plates over your real ones, when the police pull you over you can explain it's marketing ploy and give them a few dozen to hand out, more than likely they'll be cooperative.Pretty soon a lot of people will have them and the rest will just assume I really am the Official State Symbol. You can sign up below(?)for your free information kit and first 1000 license plates.
Anyway just an update, as many of you know I'm anxious to get started, attending gala luncheons, meeting foreign dignitaries and presiding as Grand Marshal of a DW parade and the other duties of Official State Symbolism.
Wish me luck and if any of you can remember the Governor's name pass it along, I have a letter for him.

Is it because pamphlet is such a funny word? I mean really, pamphlet has to be typed slowly even, I can't imagine having to actually ORDER them.

In any case, if and when you get pamphlets don't forget to send me 124. And if you stick to the license plate deal, I only need half an order (small town, ya know?)

OH and before I forget, we're cookin' weinies on the grill today. You're welcome to join our Gala Luncheon but I do expect you to bring your own ketchup, to give a short speech AND to be the OWT, ok?
