Well he said it like "I think it'd be best if I got some experience before asking out someone as sophisticated as you."

My friends have this suspicion that he likes me and HAS liked me since homecoming. Which is odd because the longest he's ever liked a person has been a week. (its true!)
According to my best friend (who never lies to me. we're very brutually honest friends) when she hung out with him last week he made it very clear that he liked me and HAS liked me for quite some time. (which again, is unusual)

which brings me to now. Hes always so desperate for a date. With ANYBODY. If he truly did like me, then why wouldn't he go out with me, the person he apparently likes, after I told him that I would go out with him if he asked.


He said, "My point in saying that, is that I want to go into a relationship with a friend knowing how to make it work rather than to jump into it, have it fail, and mess up a friendship"

I know I probably shouldn't be confused as I am, but I honestly am not sure if he truly means what he is saying.
