Dear Santa, I'd like a Disney Trip for Christmas! - TR started!

So on today's episode of Dear Santa, I'd like a Disney trip for Christmas, we are going to discuss my ideas for a mini-planner (as I like to call it) and then a few other odds and ends. Ya know, whatever comes to mind!

First I would like to start out with a few pics of the "mini-planer" in its beginning stages of life.

I purchased this from Kmart for $2.00 I believe.

The front "friendship" cover is removable and I have my own Disney themed "cover" for it. (I'm obsessed with the creative DISigns board) And on the inside I plan to have everything from small park maps to ADR to phone numbers to whatever else I can think of to put in there. Any Suggestions? I have already started to make my spreadsheets out in excel. Boring and life-less. I am trying to change that but I havent found the time to play around with any programs. Quick random though: I really want photoshop! That was such a fun class in HS! When I finally get around to putting my Mini-Planner together, I will be posting pics asap! Might be a weekend Night Time Project. My days are PACKED this weekend!

This is lauren conrads hair. and I love this! I'm dying my hair tonight (not the fun colors) but I'm thinking about doing the pink. What do you think??

I AM ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH THIS CASE!!!!! Too bad I bought it and it was for an Ipod and didnt fit my phone. So I had to return it and was hunting and hunting online to find the twin for Iphone. When I finally found it, it was $30.00 online vs the $20.00 I spent on the Ipod case. What can I say, I'm cheap. That ten dollars extra would annoy me. But I will get that case....eventually! SOO in love with it.

Love the pink hair idea too. I used to always put a few coloured streaks in my hair.

I think you should do your hair as crazy as you want. You're young enough you can wear anything.

just googled them....SOO cute! I dont think my bunny would be too fond of a hedgehog though. And I didnt know they were illegal in PA! I didnt even know they were pets!

True story - our hedgehog likes our one cat better than anyone else in the house. He goes and snuggles right up with him. Apparently they're illegal because (African) hedgehogs could survive the PA winter and live in the wild and reproduce (and take over the woods or something). Our hedgehog hates when it goes below 70 and there's no fluffy blanket for him to sleep with!

I really like the ombre/dip dye hair effects. My hair's too dark to dye effectively, so I think you should go for it. I like the pink/purple-y blue mix.

I'm a terrible planner, but if the plastic covers can stand a dry-erase marker (and it being wiped off), I'd probably put crossword puzzles/games/sudoku in there to play in lines. Or some paper for a mashed up version of I Spy/pictionary (i.e., one person draws something in the surrounding area and the other has to guess what it is. Possibly only fun for me because I can't draw).

I am an obsessive planner! I spend hours researching almost EVERY detail. And I've never had any fun colors in my hair...never too late to try it!

Boo jobs. My work (basically school since I'm a grad student) is so laid back, I've seen people in pajamas at the office. I forget that not everywhere is like that. Is there someone with whom you could talk and casually bring up the topic?

I am the worst at mad libs! I always end up trying to have the sentences make sense, which gets boring pretty fast. I don't know why it's so difficult for me

The planner is a great idea! I'm a huge planner, half of the fun for me in going to WDW is the planning process. It's great that you're making your own, I usually use a passporter in combination with spreadsheets that I make myself and take along folded in a plastic ziploc bag.

I've only ever been to the world once for Christmas, when I was 19-20, and I thought it so charming. Busy yes, I would even call it crazy busy. But that's too be expected, and since you're planning well in advance you shouldn't have a problem.

I think the hair colours are great .... I would go for all of them, not just the pink!

I actually did bring it up and my director thought it was something she might try herself! So I'll probably be doing that soon. I just dyed my hair. Its lighter on the top, darker on the bottom. Hello! I hope everyone has enjoyed at least ONE Christmas in July sale! In today's post I'm going to make a list of my Disney-Do's! And if you've been reading along this whole time, you know I've never been to the World before, so I am all ears for any suggestions you have to add to my list!

The Following Disney-Do's are in no particular order

1. Try a Dole Whip - we'll see if they live up to all the hype

2. Get Mickey Waffles for Breakfast! - They look so cute..and tasty!

3. Find the Dwarfs and get my picture taken with them! I love them.

4. Enjoy the fireworks - I've been told I'll never enjoy any other fireworks after seeing the ones at Disney

5. Go to MVMCP! couldnt really find any good pics.

6. Go on tower of terror! - I am so excited for this. Heard AWESOME things

That is all I can think of right now for my Disney-Do list. I'm so excited to try out all of those things!

I hope everyone has enjoyed their Sunday! I know I've enjoyed my day of Bridezilla's and iced tea! I've spent a good portion of my day (while watching the zilla's) doing Disney planning. I just love being buried in Disney planning! Today's focus was The Mini-Planner! I've been printing, searching, cutting, and typing like a mad woman! Since DBF has not been able to come home for the past two weekends (including this one) and will not be home for two more, sad1 I need to find stuff to do to keep myself occupied. What better than Disney Vacation stuff?!?

I think it came out pretty well. Spent enough time on it!

Now my plans for the rest of the planner is to fill it with park info, maps, and anything else I can dig up. I plan on getting more info off Touring Plans, out of my Unofficial Guide book, and from other various Disney sites.

Is there anything you never enter the parks without?

--You've been told right! Although the other day I was driving home in the pouring rain and saw some fireworks. I pulled over to watch them, got my iphone out and put on some Disney parks music and got lost in memories!

Love the Cinderella charm! Too bad about the gems, I have a Mickey phone charm that's doing the same thing.

Mmmm Mickey waffles. They really are terrific. I'm debating trying Dole Whips - I'm thinking it might be too cold in December but they might be the closest thing I'll come to water ice since moving out to Colorado.

I usually just take food, camera and phone into the parks because I'm lazy, cheap, and enjoy playing Snake and Solitaire for hours.

Also, Bridezillas is the best lazy day show ever. It somehow makes me feel way better about myself even though I spent an entire day marathoning a show on WE TV (home of laughing at salad/yoghurt commercials). And iced tea is the only way to drink tea - even more so if it's an Arnold Palmer! Fruit/herbal teas with lemonade is especially good.
