Hey guys! So I posted about my job issues and I'm in full panic mode about...well....my trip. I've waited my whole life for this! LITERALLY! And the thought of it being just ripped from my grasp is an extremely devastating thought that makes me feel sick....I'm sure you all understand better than anyone else I try to tell. AND that is why I love this site. And my few readers. You guys just understand the love of Disney that makes regular people roll their eyes and tune you out. Anyway, I am determined to make this trip happen....so what better way to get your determination back than a call to DISNEY! SOO I have a December Disney tips thread and I saw someone got free dining for basically the exact same dates I have! Well I LOVE free! So the first place I headed after reading that was the Walt Disney world website! I got on the little Instant Message chat window and asked about the free dining periods to find out that YES indeed I am able to get FREE DINING! YEEEEEEEEEEESS! So this leads to a phone call to Disney! I love calling them. They make me so happy! So I get on the phone with a wonderful CM and we're talking about dining and such and I realize....I'M SWITCHING MY DINING TO FREE QUICK SERVICE!!! (because we're in a value) and I'm going to have to carry money!!! NOOO! So I ask the CM to tell me the price of upgrading to a Moderate Resort so I can get the free dining. (secretly I really wanted to stay at the Port Orleans French Quarter and was a little bummed about staying at All Star Movies) Soo she got the price and told me it was going to be a WHOPPING $100.00 more. Now I really dont see how this saved me money but I said YES! LETS DO IT! Now $100.00 isnt that incredibly much and now I get to stay where I REEEALLY wanted to stay. So $100.00 for the ideal Disney vacation isnt that horrible. And I got my reservation for the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. EXCITED! Now I have time to type this update because I got an unexpected day off from work. UGH. I'm in hardcore job finding mode. I'll keep you guys posted. This is turning into a suspense action thriller type of PTR! (not really...but lets just pretend)

NOTHING will come between me and my trip to Disney!!! .....oh did I say my?? I mean our...you know DBF...yeah, I guess its his trip too.....

Again, best of luck with finding a job, it will work itself out and soon. The good news is that you have a good attitude about it -- you're not going to let anything come between you and your vacation so you WILL find a job!

I am so excited! It looks like such a beautiful resort! And thank you! I think my willingness to work anywhere is whats keeping my good attitude. My Disney trip is definitely my motivation!

Yay for Port Orleans!! We're going to be in Riverside because my boyfriend decided he couldn't live without beignets! I hope that we can get a refurbed room in Riverside, since the refurbed ones in French Quarter look so nice.

Just from the pics I've seen of POFQ, it looks so pretty! We've only stayed at All-Star Movies... but if I were to choose a Moderate, POFQ tops my list.

I know! I love the grounds and the Christmas decorations look really nice. I was worried there wasn't going to be any, so thank goodness for the Internet! We almost switched to French Quarter because I got mixed up with the location of beignets, but I think we'll be within walking distance (or so I promised my boyfriend ).

Hello everyone! Today I have been thinking about all the good things I plan to eat while at Disney and I figured I might as well share my thoughts with all of you! Oh, and by the way, 118 Days!
This will be in the order of which we are visiting these restaurants.

Arrival Day: Hoop Dee Due Revue
I am beyond excited about eating here. I was unsure whether we were going to or not, mostly because I wasnt able to make the res. online yet, but when I called I talked to a CM about it and decided to ask about making a res. Then low and behold! WE'RE GOING TO HOOP DEE DUE REVUE ON OUR ARRIVAL DAY! So excited! I'm most excited about eating some of my favorite foods out of big old buckets! I dont know why this appeals to me so much. I guess it just sounds fun!

Day One: Crystal Palace (Breakfast)
I'm unsure if I've ever mentioned this about myself, but I absolutely LOVE breakfast. My favorite meal of the day. Love, love, love it. Soo what better way to start off my first day than with, well...a breakfast BUFFET! Plus, I love Winnie the Pooh and all of those wonderful characters! I've read wonderful things about the breakfast here and I cant wait to check it out for myself!

Day Two: 50's Prime Time Cafe
This looks so cute and fun and just so homey! I checked out the menu and it sounds like a bunch of things I like to eat. I think I want to get the smores for dessert! They sound divine!


Day Three: Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Room
Now this sounds wonderful but in all honestly, it was just a quick filler when I couldnt get Le Cellier. So we'll see how much we like this one...

Day Four: Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater
I've heard mixed reviews about this one, so I'm not going to get too excited just yet.

Day Five: Tusker House (Breakfast)
I'm going to try to express how excited I am for this one....

I CANNOT WAIT! I dont know why but something about what I've read just has me SO excited!! (Plus..I have a love for breakfast...)

Day Six: None
Nothing for today...I needed two for Hoop Dee Due and so I guess I used this day...but we dont have any for departure day either..soooo....

Day Seven: Tony's Town Square
Lady and the Tramp holds near and dear memories for me. It is my wonderful brother's favorite Disney movie and we've watched it millions of times and I couldnt even think about not going here on my first trip. I wish my brother was able to come along.

Departure Day: None again
This is also probably going to stay this way.



So there is that little run down of our eating out. Eventually I'm going to post where I want to use our quick service credits. yay! love food!

ps. I greatly apologize for the lake of photo's and I hope to make up for it in my TR!

Great choices for your ADRs!

We've done breakfast at CP twice now... and I'll be going there again on my trip next month. It's one place we'll go back to on every WDW trip... we love it!

The PB&J milkshake at 50sPTC is to die for! Soooooo yummy. And the food is good, too!

Sci-Fi has great ribs, burgers and onion rings. Stick with those, and you should be good.

I'm trying R&C for the first time next month... looking forward to it! Pretty sure I'm going to order the Sunday Roast, it sounds so good!
