Dear Santa, I'd like a Disney Trip for Christmas! - TR started!

Well now that I've tried to catch up on the conversation you two have been having while I've been away I can finally reply! :rotfl:

First I'd like to say I've watched all 8 of the HP movies as of 2:00 this afternoon! :rotfl: Went to bed at 3 in the morning after watching 1-6 and then watched year 7 part one and two this morning. AWESOME movie series. Absolutely brilliant. :goodvibes

I will definitely be trying a PB&J shake! It sounds so good! :cloud9: And I LOVE peanut butter! :thumbsup2

Stephanie is an awesome name isnt it?! But its not so common around here! I dont know very many Stephanie's at all! But still...Stephanie is a gorgeous name! ;)

And I am excited to try out sewing! I think it will be fun! (First I need a sewing machine!) But I like crocheting, knitting, and I dont know why but I LOVE counting cross stitch! I'm doing a beach/Christmas scene CCS right now and it is lovely! :goodvibes

I think I've covered everything....I hope! :rotfl:

I haven't really read much of the past conversation (whoops..), but congrats on your marathon! Successfully completing a TV/movie marathon deserves as many accolades as a running marathon :lmao:

My mother cross-stitches and she taught my sister and me. I haven't done it in ages though; she had a huge box of floss that I don't have access too any longer. ;) It certainly is very relaxing.

:rotfl2: It was a very satisfying movie marathon! I love HP! :lovestruc (Ron Weasley)

I love it, I love it, I love it!

yay me too! :lovestruc

WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to say that! All the planning is half the fun though, so enjoy this part too! ;)

I know! I love the planning! :goodvibes I dont know what I'll do with myself once my trip is over and I have no planning to do. :confused3 I dont even want to think about it! :rotfl2:

When you get back from one trip you start planning the next. We go every May, I start planning that one in January!
Our December trip is a special Christmas treat for us in memory of my Dad. So this may be the only one we take, so it's going to be BIG:wizard:
Can't wait for Dec. 17th:goodvibes If I wasn't in the middle of a remodeling project I would start packing. I've made us all MVMCP shirts, I'm working on some scarves, trying to decide on how many ways I can layer clothes if it gets cold. Come on December!!!!!!!!

Saw your post on Ann's PTR and decided to come over and check out your PTR. I will have to go back and catch up later, but it looks like you must have changed your dates, huh?

I'm excited to read all your plans.

Well the problem with that is...I dont know when the next time I'll be going is. :sad1: I NEED to get more things done. This trip is going to be here before I get around to getting all my things done! I wish I could just stay home all day and worry about nothing but Disney and OCDP! :rotfl2: I love Disney Planning! :lovestruc

Yes, I changed our dates from the week of Christmas to New Years to the 15-23. Very happy with my decisions there. :goodvibes Thanks for joining! :cheer2:

I see you have a Harry Potter ticker....so jealous!

So I forgot to mention that yesterday (11-11-11) was the release of HARRY POTTER! Both the last movie AND Lego Harry Potter which I am completely and TOTALLY obsessed with. My brother and I played the first Lego Harry Potter game and now we want the second! We played it for wii and will be getting it for the wii again.

I recommend this game if there is anyone out there who wants to play it. Because I love it. :cloud9: But then again I'm totally obsessed with Harry Potter. I want to marry Ron Weasley! :rotfl2:

Today my brother and I are watching ALL of the movies. We went to Walmart today and bought the last one. So I'll be dising and watching Harry Potter all day! :goodvibes

I hope everyone has an awesome Saturday! If anyone wants to talk about Harry Potter, feel free. I love it! :lmao:

33 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OHHH YEAH!
:woohoo:

Been lurking off and on...Love Harry Potter...40 more days and I am in Hogswarts again! I preordered the entire collection for my dd...so tempted to open it up and watch 7.2 again! We have been enjoying all week the ABC Family Channel showings of the first 5!

Oh I am SO jealous! I would have loved to have some time to go to Hogwarts! :lovestruc (I watched all the movies this weekend and am currently watching the first one AGAIN!) :rotfl2: My next trip I plan on going regardless. Just didnt work out for this time. :sad2:

And thanks for posting! The more the merrier! Especially HP fans! :thumbsup2

We are going to USO/IOA before Disney. So we'll be at HRH Dec 16-17 and Poly Dec 17-22, so our dates overlap yours!

Went to WWOHP last September with my husband for his birthday and, at the risk of sounding cliche, "it's worth the price of admission". Haven't seen all your plans yet, but with a stay the length of yours, you might consider a half-day over at IOA.

AAAHHH! I would love to try and figure out how to get over there. We have one day that nothing is really planned....I'd just have to go look into the cost. Because that is a biggie.

PS! After I originally posted that I went back and looked at your sept. tr and was drooling over your photo's. It just seems like such an awesome place. (like WDW) I wonder if I could handle so much fun and awesome on one trip! haha!

We are officially in the twenties! DBF and I are still sending super excited texts to each other! :rotfl: I send him photo's of the countdown calendar as the days get checked off since he, unfortunately, cannot be here to enjoy the crossing off of the days. SOO I send him photo's to try and include him.

I have a photo on my phone of myself crossing off day 30 but I dont feel like finding my phone cord right now. Talk about lazy.

So I dont know if I've ever officially stated my pure love of HP before my movie marathon, so I figured now is the right time to do it. (with a long drawn out story of how I became to love HP) :rotfl:

Well it all started in 2008 when I started dating Pat. You see my mother never allowed my brother and I to read the books when we were young, so we hadnt been able to enjoy the series. Pat loved the series and I think it was his first series of chapter books he read? I'm not exactly sure though. But I watched one of the movies with him and ever since then I've been ABSOLUTELY hooked! I cannot get enough of HP! The characters, story line, the setting, EVERYTHING about this series is just WONDERFUL! :lovestruc

If you've never read or watched any of this series I HIGHLY recommend it. My brother and I are now obsessed. Literally.

Now this leads me to my new idea. SPEND A DAY AT THE WIZARDING WORLD! But I dont think it will happen 1. Because Pat just wants to spend all the time at Disney and doesnt want to travel outside of Disney. 2. I'm not sure how we'd get there having never been to either. 3. Well...lets just say its basically because DBF doesnt want to.

Now I would LOVE to spend just one day...Even half a day...at hogwarts! :lovestruc But for some reason DBF just doesnt want to. So I guess it will just be a distant dream. He says next time we go we will plan some time to go to Hogwarts...so I guess I'll just look at everyone elses photo's and dream about it...:cloud9:

We do have a pretty busy trip ahead of us. Lots of things planned and lots of money to spend! :lovestruc The nice thing about a Christmas trip is instead of gifts people have been giving us spending money! :goodvibes Which makes me super happy! :cool1: :rotfl2:

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Wednesday! I am so ready for the weekend...but really I'm just ready for a four day weekend for Thanksgiving! HURRY UP AND GET HERE ALREADY!

PS. Is anyone else in SHOCK that Thanksgiving is next week already?! Wow. I know I am!

Next Post!

Our EPCOT day! :goodvibes I'm very much looking forward to spending the day in Epcot, mostly because of all the storytellers. I am hoping to try and hear all of their stories. Or at least getting a photo of each of them and visiting their little station.

This is just going to be an Epcot rambling post. Not formatted like my other Day plans.

So I found a list I wrote of all the different storytellers and the pavilions to find them in. Its a hand written list and I wish I could remember where I found it! I've done some brief searching but have had no luck finding the source of this list. But I'll share what I have written for those of you who might be interested.

American Adventure (?) - Story of Hanukkah, Santa Claus, Story of Kwanza
Canada - PaPa Noel
China - The Monkey King
France - Pere Noel
Germany - Helga
Italy - La Betana
Japan - (I cant read what I wrote) :rotfl:
Mexico - The 3 kings
Morocco - Taarji
Norway - Julenissen
United Kingdom - Father Christmas

I also have written down that Illuminations has a special Holiday ending! :woohoo: I really need to find exactly which site I got this info from.

Mostly I want to spend the day in Epcot with the story tellers. Then later in the evening we'll have dinner and the Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Room. :goodvibes This will be interesting to try I'm sure.

Anyone have any recommendations for something fun to do in Epcot?

I'm so ready for this week to be over! I cannot wait until I'm driving home from work tomorrow. Hope everyone has had a better week than I have! I guess I'm just ready for vacation. :confused3

Walmart is playing Christmas music btw...and have been for a few weeks now! :santa:

And a month from today we'll have spent the day in HS and have probably just finished our dinner at 50's something around there.

This is the article I was using for the storyteller schedule.

Kim Possible? Standing in line for Candlelight Processional? ;) There's always walking over to the Boardwalk to look around! I think Epcot is usually less packed with specific activities because it's so much fun to wander and see all the little things in the pavilions.

Or I spend waaaay too much time on El Rio del Tiempo :rolleyes1

Why not try a KimPossible mission or two? My DH and I did one last year (picked up in Norway, mission was in Japan) and it was SO fun!

Thanks for the list of Christmas stories. I hope we get to do at least some of these.

Fun day at Epcot!

I havent heard much about the Kim Possible missions. I'll have to go dig up some info on it...it actually never even crossed my mind!

I'm looking forward to the story tellers. I wouldnt mind spending my whole Epcot day listening to them. :goodvibes

If you're just going to be in WSC, I totally recommend checking out the attractions (ie the Mexican Boat Ride, Maelstrom, Reflections of China, etc). Go into pavillions and play with the stuff (try on hats, take pics holding swords, etc.) Just those things are a blast!
