I am looking for the Target discount cards, want to buy a IPod Nano. Can anyone tell me if I can buy 8 $25 cards and get $40 back in credit. Can I join for only 1 month and cancel?

You will have to pay for at least 2 months of membership to get the rebated
$40. it will be credited back to your charge card the month after you make the giftcard purchase, and you cannot get it if you are no longer a member.

They usually credit your credit card account pretty quickly. I have been a member for almost a year though. I think it is worth paying the membership fee. You might want to get Amazon.com gift certficate instead, no shipping charge, no tax.
