Does anyone else deal with larger flabby arms. I am around 206 lbs and my arms bother me the most. I still remember my grandmothers arms like these. And when I try on shirts, the arms has to be loose. I have got so many cute tee shirts I bought this summer that don't fit, I always say maybe someday and I keep them.
I want to do smething NOW but what? :confused3 Something I could do at home daily and start seeing a difference. Disney is next March then our 20th ann. in June. I want a new me for a family picture done then.

Push ups are awesome for overall arm toning. You can do them on your knees until you build up strength (and it doesn't take long!). Get some weights (probably start small, 3-5lbs). You can do some bicep curls, tricep presses, shoulder raises, etc. There are all kind of arm exercises to do with weights. Keep in mind that you will also have to do some cardio to help burn the fat, as well as eat a healthy diet. It is not possible to get rid of fat where you want it (your body picks where it'll take it off first!) but you can concentrate on building muscles in one area to help tone.

You can do your best to reduce it, but bat wing arms are hereditary.
Sorry.

(I have them too - even when I was a teen/before I put on much weight there were indications of them.)

Yes, definitely by a pair of hand weights. I have mine right in the living room and pick them up when I am watching t.v. at night. I'm sure that you can find some good exercises on www.Shape.com or just do a search. BUT as someone mentioned cardio and proper diet make a huge difference too. I was doing a workout on Fit Tv today and they said you can do a million situps, but you still may not have a flat stomach. They say you may already have abs of steel, but they are buried beneath a layer of fat. That's been my problem since having DD almost 2 years ago. I'm getting back into the cardio end of it now to burn off the flab. Good luck!

One exercise I like is holding a free weight, or soup can, and lifting arm straight up over head. Then bend your arm at elbow back like if you wanted to pat your back.
Anothe one is sitting on the floor in front of the sofa. Put your hands behind you and lift your body (chest) up and down. Sort of a variation on push ups.
I know it is hard to explain. These are two exercises I saw and they do make you 'feel' it.
Don't lose hope. I always am amazed at the pics of people who have lost a lot of weight and toned and their skin bounces back. Eat healthy and drink lots of water.
