yes my £224 bargain is now £748.

i can see my pricing error confirmation e-mail from ebookers flying accross to me already! :)

so its either a genuine "deal of the century" with very limited availability or its a pricing error. I wonder if they will have to honour the cheap prices?

I have looked into this and apparantly if you have booked and paid and have a confirmation/reciept of booking stating clearly what the booking is for, then legally they are obliged to honour their side of the contract. :goodvibes


So that taken with my last Live Chat asking explicitley why I was getting 4 nights free and being told the booking was correct and guaranteed not to change, I think I can breath a sigh of relief.

And emails on the way :goodvibes
 
I took a screenshot earlier of the booking page and it clearly stated "early booking offer" which is no longer there, so maybe (just maybe!) It is legitimate??
 
Although the deal is no longer there, they still have some fab prices if you have an AP - 207 pounds for 5 nights room and breakfast only is still very cheap!
 
the more I think about it, the more I think it may have been my fault that the deal is gone!:eek:
it was removed about 3 minutes after my chat with them, when i very directly pointed out what looked like a pricing error. - sorry if thats the case :sad1:

Now to see if I can keep it secret from my DS till the day we go!

I dont think I will book my flights quite yet, they still colud pull it from us, thing is how long do you wait before you book non cancellable transport?

"c) In case of an obvious error (including any error in electronic labelling, error in data entry, error of calculation or clerical error) resulting in the display of a price which has obviously been displayed by mistake, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation, even if it was automatically confirmed by ebookers. You will be informed of this as soon as possible, to allow you to make a reservation at the correct price, if you wish to. In any case, you will not be entitled to claim compensation from ebookers on the grounds of the cancellation or the related costs, if any, that have been incurred due to an erroneous reservation which has been cancelled"

If its an error then i'm fairly sure you won't keep that price, Lets just hope it's an amazing and genuine deal, though I do have my doubts, Fingers crossed for all of you that booked. :-)

I think most of us (me included) assume it was an error, but I have in writing my query about the price, quoting their T & C's and their answer with writen guarantee that the booking and price was correct, was not in error, was a limited time offer and would definately not change. Not sure how they can then refuse to honour it?:confused3

oh well, nothing ventured nothing gained I guess ;)
