Deaf Awareness Day/Weekend?

We are scheduled to go to Disney March 8-11. I read somewhere that weekend is Deaf Awareness day or weekend. Does that bring in a ton of extra people? Hoping it won't be crazy crowded! I also read somewhere that the cast from Switched at Birth is rumored to be there. We LOVE that show! Have you heard anything about any of this? I googled it but am not seeing any info for this year, just previous years. Not sure what info is fact vs rumor.

There's already a thread by someone that seems to be pretty knowledgable about the weekend. I don't think its anything huge and won't effect crowds too much.

Where did you see another thread? I searched but the only thing I saw was from last November and it was speculation.

Yes, Deaf Day is Saturday March 10th although OC Deaf who promotes this event has been silent (no pun intended). My school and others are taking our students this weekend so hopefully the Deaf community joins suit!
