De Palm Island in Aruba

Has anyone booked De Palm Island in Aruba (all inclusive day package) directly with De Palm, as opposed to booking through DCL?

We have a group that’s all different levels of CC & are worried that if we wait for booking to open, our group of 11 won’t all be able to get it.

We are open to doing it privately & not through DCL, but when you go to buy tickets it has you choose a hotel. Do they actually verify that or is it just more for their own marketing knowledge?
