De-Constructed Cupcake Question

I was reading a blogpost about Animator's Palate and saw a pic of a Deconstructed Cupcake, a dessert that kids decorate themselves.

My granddaughter is a cupcake nut ... her goodnight words are always, "Dream about cupcakes!". The last time we went to Disney, it was our mission to try ALL the cupcakes.

Anyway, we're on the 4-night Bahamian cruise on the Dream in December. Is the deconstructed cupcake dessert a standard part of the menu rotation?

I haven't seen it on the standard rotational menu, adult or kids menus. I searched for the blog post and found one that was dated from 2013 so it's possible this just isn't offered any longer.

The deconstructed cupcakes are the dessert items for the kids on the 2nd Animators Palette dinner where you do the drawings that get animated as part of the show.. As far as I know that is not offered on the 3 or 4 day cruises.

Ahhh... That explains why I haven't seen it. Our last 7 night cruise was a year ago and our animation show night was the last night of the cruise. By that time, my DD had gotten into the habit of ordering the chicken tenders and a Mickey bar every night and wasn't even bothering to look at the menus.

On our seven night cruise on the wonder, we didn't have this. My son was disappointed as this was to be his trip highlight!

When you get on board the first day, you can pull up all the menus for the entire week on the DCL app. If it isn't on there... I am sure that if you explain exactly what you want to your server one night, they can make it happen the following night. D

Thanks tons for all the responses! :-)

It's not a huge deal, we'll be eating our way through the cupcakes at WDW for a few days before we set sail.

On the short sailings they do offer a deconstructed pie in AP. That was fun and tasted good.
