DDs - the new Disney Video stars!

Just a short note before the full trip reports come out, but I thought I'd share this exciting information you.

On one of the days we visited MGM Studios, DW and DDs queued up to get some character autographs under the magicians hat whilst I did my impression of Grumpy and sat in the shade by the water fountain.

I looked up to see how they were doing and noticed that there was a camera crew nearby but thought nothing of it. I went over to see what was going on and they were signing forms etc.

When I asked what was going on I found out they they were filling in release papers and name and address information along with polaroid shots. The outcome was they had been filmed getting autographs etc for the latest Disney in-house resort video - the one that gets shown on the TV in the resorts about all the parks and attarctions.

It should be out ready for Autumn (Fall) - I'll try and link a pic in later for info.

They were also filming in other locations like Typhoon Lagoon - so you may catch a glimpse of me in my Speedo's in the backround! - Gasp!

Wow! That's very exciting - can't wait to see the photos AND can't wait to see them in the video in the resorts! ( I think they might edit out the speedos though ............. shame )

Congratulations to the girls

We were in Typhoon Lagoon when they were filming. The first half of the Shark pool was rope d off so we presumed they would be filming there later in the day.

DD was fascinated how often the actress had to have her make up touched up & by the large set of stacking drawers full of juice & snacks. Does that say somefthing about the food on offer in the water parks? We enjoy it but then again don't have " star " tastes.

Luckily we missed the Speedos.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool! Not sure that I'll ever get to see it, but I'd love to know when it's showing - might even book a night at a Disney resort just to see someone I know in the video!
