DDs taking me to WDW...packing?

Glad you got what sounds like a small taste..

Sorry about C, that’s a bummer. She was probably most bummed!

I anticipate Epcot to be my favorite. All the countries. What was your favorite?

We went to Epcot on a day that had a drenching downpour. We had waterproof stuff but the wind was blowing and we found it pretty miserable so we went back to the hotel to check on C. We just napped along with her for a while and when she was still not wanting to do anything but sleep, we got her some items we thought she might be able to eat or at least drink and went to Hollywood Studios. By then the rain had let up quite a bit. So, we actually didn't see a lot of Epcot and what we did see was through a really heavy rain which most definitely squashed our interest. It really looked like it would be amazing but with the cold, windy, and wet weather, it wasn't fun. C told us to go do something because she wasn't going to do anything but sleep so we went back to Hollywood Studios, which is relatively close to Pop Century, and rode ToT and Slinky dog and had a hamburger. C never did feel well enough to get out of bed so we went back and read in the room and then slept. We left the next morning at 4:30 am.

It was a shame C got sick but at least she had fun at AK and HS before that. We went to Disney Springs on her birthday and had a nice dinner there to celebrate. She started feeling like she was coming down with something then :( Not the best way to celebrate 22.

It wasn't Covid so I guess it was flu. She wasn't sick to her stomach and main symptoms were headache, fever, and exhaustion.

We've been chatting today (she lives 3 hours from me) via phone and text and she's really disappointed. She feels she let me down! I told her I'm so proud of her and her sisters for making a dream of mine happen!

They all went together to do this. I got some unfortunate health news a few months ago and my wonderful girls are trying hard to keep my spirits up and enjoy special times together. I feel very, very lucky!

I'm so sorry to hear you got bad health news. I hope it's something manageable and something that still allows you to enjoy Disney and your family for years and years to come. :grouphug:

Great photos! So glad you had a good time and I’m glad you’re daughter was feeling better for the flight home. Sounds like you guys need to do another trip!

EE & Guardians are my absolute favorite rides at WDW. I’m tall and I have had my head get hit on rockin rollercoaster too. No fun! But I’m glad you enjoyed slinky! Such an adorable and fun attraction! I feel like I never get very wet on WDW version of Tiana’s. I haven’t been on it since it changed to Tiana’s. But as Splash, we never really got super wet. Nothing like the Disneyland version. We have gotten soaked at DL!

My other twin planned a trip for us to go to Disneyland next month :). I'm flying down and she's driving from SLO. I was hoping her sister could go since she missed most of WDW but she has to work. My Pluto girl is moving to NYC in a few weeks :( . I will sure miss her. I'll also miss the 50% discounts ha ha.

AND I'm going to Santa Barbara in a few weeks with my sister! We're just going to chill and maybe go wine tasting. We're actually staying in Solvang.

After that, I'll be going to my mom's in Eureka. Her companion will be in Europe for 3 1/2 weeks so my sis and I are going to stay with her (she's 93 and a bit fragile). My brother is also going to be there so it should be fun.

After that I'll probably sleep for a few weeks, ha ha.
