Their ear's pierced today.Ouch. It does look nice though.

Before i get flamed ;) They have been asking for it done for month's and month's but i kept saying no and telling them how much it hurt's.Anyway they still wanted it doing so i took them today.

They were very brave(unlike me that had to go out the shop for a minute and my mum had to stay while they had it done)and didn't cry once.

I remember when I got my ears pierced for the first time. I pleaded with my mum for months until she finally gave in. I felt so grown up when it was done, even though it hurt for a few days.

I'd promised DD she could have hers done when she was 7, if I could talk her Dad round.... ;)

Then came the letter from school saying that they should have piercings done in the summer holidays, to give them time to heal before school restarted

We were on a mission to convince him this last Summer and he finally gave in.
They look great, and she was 7 last Thurs so we were close to the mark

I was 18 before I got mine pierced - in the back room of some dodgy shop in Blackpool, as my Dad wouldn't let me have them done when I was at school......... :rotfl:
How I didn't develop some kind of infection I'll never know.. ;)

I had mine done when I was 13. My older sister's best friend runs a hair/beauty salon and is very good at her job so I had it done there. It hurt a lot for the micro second while thr gun went through but stopped hurting almost immediately. I wear earrings so infrequently now that I have to re-pierce my ears with the earring most times! I thnik I'm allergic to metal so I can't keep earrings in permanently.

They were 7 a few month's ago so i thought it was finally time i gave in.Let's face it,even at 7 they know their own mind.

absolutely Vicky, I bet they feel all grown up now :)

I keep trying to persuade my DD's 12 and 10 but they are having none of it. I guess they will have them done eventually.

My friends at Uni clubbed together to get my ears pierced and buy me some earrings for my 19th. I was such a wimp! :teeth:

How are there ears now? I had mine done last year :) Time to buy pretty Mickey earrings :teeth:

After months of nagging we agreed to let DD get hers done when she was 7. She had the first ear done and screamed the shop down! I was heavily pregnant with DS and got really upset and ended up crying myself (blame the hormones) eventually after about 5 minutes she calmed down enough to have the other one done. I was so embarassed. Still it obviously hasn't damaged her for life as she went off and had her tongue pierced when she turned 16 without my permission! (Teenagers who'd have them) :rotfl:

Their ear's are fine now thanx Kaylee.
Ohh Mickey earrings, that's a good idear. They have wrote to santa for some earring's.

Scott bought me some beautiful sterling silver Tinkerbell's from WDW last year as an 18th birthday present.

That's great Kaylee.I know a little girl who would love the tinkerbell earring's.Guess i better get intouch with santa. ;)

dd would love tinkerbell earings ! i think santa has got enough to carry for my two tho
