That is a great site! I've bookmarked it and sent it to my family. It will definitely come in handy!

Thanks for sharing it!

My parents served mexican food at my little brother's graduation party two years ago. They had:

Hard and soft shells
Beef
Refried beans
Rice
Shredded cheese
Nacho cheese
Salsa
Lettuce
Tomatoes
Sour cream
Black olives
Guacamole
Tortilla chips

People were able to make burritos, tacos or nachos out of that stuff. It went over really well. Good luck! :goodvibes

Everyone seems to do walking tacos, but no one has had a taco bar... just wanted to be different.

Does there seem like enough food? Tacos with chips and salsa?

I never heard of tacos (or even walking tacos) at a graduation party. I graduated 2 years ago and everyone seemed to have picnic-type food (fried chicken, sandwiches, pasta salad, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc.)

I can tell you, though, that most of the kids will eat. It's free food to them which means feast time, especially to the boys.

Wow, never heard of a walking taco before?! Sounds interesting...

At my graduation party (and a lot that I attended) we had large trays of different foods. Sausage/peppers/onions, penne voldka, ziti, meatballs, roastbeef, chicken franchaize, rolls, regular salad, and pasta salad. We had a big cake and one of big bowl of assorted berries, and another of assorted melon.
Maybe this is a regional thing?

I do really like the idea of tacos though, I love Mexican food!
I would definetly do some kind of dip and a lot of it!
I make layered dip occasionally that consists of:

refried beans on the bottom
then some ground beef
layer of sour cream
layer of salsa
layer of cheese
then heat it up
..add shredded lettuce, tomatoes and black olives to the top.
jalepenos optional

mmmm, could go for some right now!

Whatever you do, make a lot of food! Kids can EAT!
Then if there's extras, you always have leftoverss!

I think you have plenty of food. If your area is like our area, there are probably 10-20 other parties going on at the same time and people move from one party to the next and don't eat much at any one party.
