DDP yes or no

Thanks so much for everone's input. I picture us eating at least one meal a day in the world. However, it may not always be TS. The Food and Wine festival will be taking place during our stay. Does anyone know if you can use the DDP towards any of these vendors?

You can use a snack credit for many of the food items from the various F&W kiosks ... BUT it isn't exactly the best use of a snack credit. The food samples at the kiosk are usually ~$3-4 and VERY small.

We did the DDP during F&W last year, and we'll be doing the same again this year. Typically we pick one day to eat and drink our way around the World Showcase in place of lunch (saving a CS), sharing the kiosk items so that we get to try a large variety. We still managed to end up at the F&W fest almost every day anyway. The remaining CS can then be used on our check-out day.

While we could cook meals in the RV, Disney dining is a big part of our vacation expereince. I've seen most of what the parks have to offer, so I'm pretty darn happy sitting down daily to a well prepared meal along with various alcoholic concoctions

We did the DDP while staying at the Fort in the spring of 2006 and will again when we come back in December. For us, it was a real treat. We used some of our TS meals to do a couple of character meals (breakfast at Ohana's and lunch at Crystal Palace), which our DS5 really enjoyed and then we did a dinner show (which is two) so we really stretched it out. It is a lot of food, but it's sooooooo good and soooooo nice not to have to cook or clean up.
Incidentally, we were hardly ever at or near the camper - nor did anyone want to go back - when the boys were ready to eat so it worked out great for us. Like others have said, we did breakfast at the camper and then used our CS and/or TS in the parks and at other resorts.

We looked at all the menus, like some others have suggested, to decide the first time and enjoyed it so much that my DH didn't even hesitate this time. He just said be sure to include the dining.:)

Good luck and enjoy. The fort really is a special place!!:thumbsup2
