DDP with other discounts....

If you were staying on site and purchasing at least a one day ticket, could you PURCHASE DDP with a room discount?

No, you have to purchase a package which consist of a room and ticket(s) for everyone in your party. Then you can choose if you want to add the DDP or not. There are package restrictions: $200 deposit. Full refund if you cancel before 45 days, then other cancellation fees if less than 45 days. You can always call and try to modify your current reservation to see if they can rebook it to a package, but you do have to buy your tickets through them and not through a ticket dealer or DS.

Not 100% sure but I think the answer is no. I believe that the DDP is only for full price pckages and so you would not be able to use it with DDP. Hopefully someone can clarify for sure though...

The answer is a resounding - YES!!!!!.

I have two packages booked this year with the 40% discount and the DDP.

It can be done.

No. There are sometimes discounts on the packages (probably what Trisha has??) but you cannot book a room-only reservation (discounted or not), buy tickets separately, and add the DDP. They need to come bundled in a package.

If you're using your DVC points or renting points from a DVC member, you can add the DDP without a package, but that's the only exception so far.
