I am so sad to hear we don't get tips included, but very glad to know before the trip. Can I use my rewards card for the tip portion of my meal? It sounds like tips are a big problem but I want to ensure that NONE of my tips are charged to my room or credit card, only cash or rewards.

All you experts any thoughts?

I had know idea the DDP would be so much work. ADRs, tips, what's a snack, what's not. Glad you all are helping me to do my homework!

Thanks,

tandyc

This was our first time using the DDP and making your mind up on where to eat VS getting advanced res. is the hardest part of planning. Now saying that we change three, one TS and two CS plans due to not wanting to leave the park for travel time and lost time at the park so we adjusted as we went. For snacks, some places like the bakery you might have to ask what can a snack credit be used for (we were told anything under $4.00) but most places you will see the SC sign. Not a big deal as it has been made out to be. The most regret was changing res. and eating at Hollywood & Vine instead of somewhere else. It was PLLLLAAAAIIINNNN food. :)

Using your rewards card shouldn't be a problem at all. It's like presenting a credit card for payment which isn't a problem. Just be clear to your server as you hand them your KTTW Card and your Rewards Card. "Please use the DDP for the meal and the Rewards Card for the tip portion."
