If your credit card is on the room key, which is also where your dining plan info is held, how do you know they are taking it off of your dining plan rather than charging it to your credit card? Thank you for any help you can give me. Also, Can I make all of my ADRs the first day of my 90 day window or can I only make one each day?

The ADRs are for 90+10, so you can make more than just a day at a time. If your are staying longer you would then have to call back on what would be the 90th day. As for the DDP (if you are doing the regular), you get a TS/CS/snack per night per person. When you have a meal they will give you a receipt showing how many of the category you have left. So, using two people for 5 nights as an example, you would have 10 CS/10 TS/10 snacks. After using the first counter service (say for two people) you will be given a receipt that shows you have 8 counter service left. It really works out great. We have used the DDP plan since they first started it and have never had any trouble. Just check your receipts to make sure they are correct.

Make sure you check your credits after each meal. Last year we used 3 credits at Wolfgang Puck Express (great meal) but they charged us for 4. We didn't notice and didn't save our receipts.

Luckily, the concierge at the Polynesian was great and although they couldn't get confirmation from the restaurant gave us back the credit.

Always check your receipts. There have been instances of persons who wanted to pay with dining credits having their cards charged.

This happened to us the second year of free dining. What I do now is have at least one KTTW card that does not have charging privileges on it. We then use only that card to access our dining credits. The only problem is that I also go down there solo a few times every year. On those trips I just don't have charging priviledges on my room key. I know you can always just check your receipts every time (and should to make should your credits are right), but I like knowing there is no way my credit card can accidently be charged.

We use either cash or a Disney rewards card for tips.

DH read in the Disboards that this was happening. So when we went to our first free dining, in 2005, we did not put charging privileges on our KTTW. We have continued that plan and never had a problem. But we also pay close attention to the number of remaining credits on our receipts.

We've never put charging priviledges on our KTTW cards but I always check our receipts after each meal or snack purchase to make sure the dining credits are correct. I also paper clip each one together separately.....snacks, TS, CS....so it's easier to keep track of each set of credits after each use. It's always easier to get it corrected right away, should there be a problem, rather than finding out a couple of days later you don't have enough credits for something.
