DDP question...

I am planning our 1st trip to disney!!! I am a teacher and we are forced into going during primed time April in 2008. The DDP was the only no brainer thing about my planning, but now I am reading about the potential changes.
1.OK so the appetizer is being taken away from the TS meal...can I still get one if I want? Is it then just something that we pay extra for?

2.I understand DDP ( Disney Dining Plan )...I think I understand DDDP (Disney Deluxe Dining Plan)...but I have seen DDPE, I think, what is that?

3.With the potential changes to the DDP, what would it include? Versus with the potential changes, what would the DDDP include?

The changes are still all rumors (though from a pretty good source). I wouldn't think too hard about it until the official details are released.

But to answer one question, you can always order food that isn't covered by the plan and pay for it.

I agree with the above poster. Wait until everything is official.

Just for fun, I ran the numbers through if tip was not included but everything else stayed the same. I would still come out ahead with the DDP.

The same was true if tip was still included but they did away with the choice of both an appetizer and a dessert and just allowed you to select one or the other.
