DDP Question

I tried to find this on the DDP forum but couldn't.

Let's say you use a snack credit for a bottle of water and something else and it comes to 4.89. Can you use your snack credit and pay the 89 cents OOP?

The $4 just a price limit on what is considered a snack. If you choose a bottle of water for $1.99 that is 1 snack credit. You can not get 2 waters even if they both would add up to under $4.00.

So you can only get one item up to 4 dollars? If so I will have to remember to get the big bottles of water.

Each item is 1 credit - we're just back and used the dining plan and I have mixed views about it! Way way way too much food! We ended up treating 2 families to meals 2 separate times b/c we jsut had way too much to use!
