DDP question for DVC stay

Planning a family trip for 2016. There will be 19 of us so we will be booking multiple rooms. Two of us are DVC members. I understand all in same room need to be on the plan if someone is doing DDP, question is do all in the same reservation need to be in or out together. If one of our reservations is a studio and a 2 br could those in the studio have DDP if those in the 2 BR do not? This reservation would be under one member
while the other member will have another 2 br.

If I understand correctly, everyone on the same reservation NUMBER must be on the same dining plan. But typically each room would have its own reservation number. Like the studio and the two bedroom would each have their own reservation in MDE even though they're made by the same member. Correct?

All on the people on a reservation need to be on the same DDP. The reservations are separate and one has nothing to do with the other.

If you want the rooms to be close to each other, have MS add a "traveling with" notation to each reservation referencing the other reservation number. That will alert the room assigner that you wish to be as close as possible to each other.

To be clear, you can't book one "reservation" that includes multiple rooms. Each room will be a different reservation. At least that's how DVC works.

So if I understand it correctly if I as a DVC member book a 2br for my brother's family and mine that would be a separate reservation # than the studio I book for my sister's family with my extra points. Therefore my sister could do the DDP even if my brother and I decide we are not doing it for our families?

Correct, at WDW right now with 4 exchange 1 BR's at SSR with only one DDP. I used our credits to pay for meals for the group last night.

Remember, the DDP must be booked at least 48 hours before arrival and be paid in full at the time of booking.
