I'm not even sure what search terms to use for this, so here goes... Say we do the dp, I know you get a drink... Water, milk, lemonade, coffee? And at your TS meals a dessert... Lets say my hubby is sick of dessert... With 2 adults and a kid, we will be getting 3 at each sit down dinner right? It seems that the adults get an "adult" dessert and the kids get a cookie or sundae or something I have read... Anyhow, back to grumpy hubby... Can he can an espresso or cappuccino (if even served there) as his dessert? Has anyone tried this? I know there are sugar free options etc... But we often get a coffee at the end of dinner while dd eats a dessert in real life...

For adults, the DDP TS drink entitlement is a standard, non-specialty drink. So, usually it's soda, lemonade (the minute maid stuff), coffee (not pressed pot, but some of the Signatures will give the press pot), and tea. I'm not sure about milk.

Yes, the adults get an dessert form the adult menu and the kids get from from the kids menu.

Some places will let you have a drink for your dessert, but it varies from place to place. The non-Disney owned venues are less likely to allow this because they might not get reimbursed from Disney because it's not a dessert. You'll have to ask at each restaurant.
