DDP-Parkpass Question

When we went in Sept this year we booked bounce back for 2009. We are looking to get a 10 day no exp ticket during this 2009 trip to use a few days in 2009 and then take the kids again in 2010. If we were to book bounce back (if they have it again) and/or purchase the dining plan would I need to purchase a minimum of one day park passes for everyone or would the no exp tickets qualify.

yes, as the packages stand now, a minimum 1 day ticket must be purchased by each person on the package

So the first visit - 2009, I will purchase the 10 day no exp ticket and that will count for a "purchased ticket" for my first free dining. If I was to get free dining for 2010, I would need to purchase a 1 day ticket and then use my remaining no exp ticket. Correct?

I guess I am asking if I need to purchase a one day ticket on both visits or if the inital purchase will be fine for visit 2009.

The 10-day ticket will cover the requirements for first trip; you will need to buy at least a 1-day for the next trip. Now, you do not have to use the 1-day ticket at that time; you can continue using the 10-day, saving the 1-days for the future.

Whenever you purchase a new free dining package, you must add some form of tickets to that reservation. The fact that you previously purchased a ticket with your past reservation and have days left over is not relevant.

We went this Sept. for the free DDP and had a bunch of left over hoppers from years past. But we each had to buy a 1 day pass to get the free DDp package. We did free DDp last 3 years and kinda wish we would have booked the bounce back while there his year but we didn't because of the economy. I think if we don't book the free DDP if available in April when Sept. 2009 rolls around I will be bummed out.

Just a reminder; if you plan on going to the parks for more than 5 days each trip, it would be much better deal to get the expiring tickets for each trip. 10 day no expire tickets are only a good deal if you use up 3 or less days on each visit.

We just used up our 10 day tickets after 3 years and now are on the fence about getting another set. Getting too pricey for us.

That is correct. DW and I have had AP's for each of the past seven years or so. We have done free dining several times and keep the unused one-day tickets to apply towards our next AP. (In September, we had a three-resort split stay, and we therefore needed to buy three one-day tickets each! The only real downside is that you cannot apply more than one ticket to an upgrade, even to an AP, so we will have partial payments on AP's for years to come!)
