DDP meals all on one card?

I thought I read somewhere that all DDP meals for your entire party are on one card, so DH could go up and order for everyone without having the individual cards. But, what if DH and I want to go to Columbia Harbor House for something healthy and our kids want to go to Pecos Bill? Will we have to take turns using the one card that has the meal plans on it?

All the credits are lumped into a pool for your reservation. All the cards will be able to use the dining credits. They aren't tied to an individual card. You could use 2 credits with your husband at Columbia and the kids could use their own cards to use 2 credits at Pecos.

Thank you so much for your reply! It is nice that the cards, and now the Magic Bands are so flexible. I did not want any surprises our first time using the DDP!
