DDP in Typhoon Lagoon

If the weather holds next week, we should have one day at TL. Eating lunch w/DDP, is there anything off limits? Are the ice cream desserts available with lunch or just the cookies?

You can use DDP at several locations at TL. You can order any entree you want. Pizzas do not come with a side, nor do the large salads.

Leaning Palms, Typhoon Tillys, and Typhoon Tillys Snack Shack, for sure.

When you order your meal, they will ask you what dessert you want. (Ice cream novelites) Then you can return later in the day and show your receipt to get your desserts. We ordered lunch at Leaning Palms but were able to pick up our desserts at The Snack Shack (this wasn't allowed at BB).

The Snack Shack has some great items you can use a SC for-we really enjoyed the

Miss Tilly's Specialty Waffle Cones with vanilla soft serve $3.79
Pistachio-Nut, Banana Split, Strawberry-Watermelon, Pineapple-Caramel, Orange-Pineapple, Banana-Chocolate, Strawberry-Chocolate, Chocolate Caramel

We got the Chocolate Carmel one and it was really good!

Locations where you can use DDP for snacks are clearly labeled with the DDP logo.

Any of the smaller kiosk that don't allow DDP will have a sign posted stating such. They also can't take your KKTW card to charge to your room. This goes for the mini-doughnut stand

The donut stand is operated by a 3rd party that's why they only take cash or credit cards.

Check out the Ribs at Typhoon Tilly's! So good they fall off the bone! Not on the regular menu (never on the online ones) But usually on a chalkboard on the counter! Yummy! had a mickey bar for dessert!

We had the ribs last year and they are really good.

The little buckets they put the kid's meals in are so cute.
I will say plan to eat early or late for lunch, as it can take FOREVER waiting in line if you go during the usual lunch rush (I'd guess 11:30-12:30)
