DDP for only 1 stay of split stay?

We are staying 2 nights in an SSR studio, then 6 nights in a VWL 1BR. Can we buy DDp for only the 2 nights at SSR? And if yes, am I correct that the credits would be good until midnight the 3rd day even if we've already checked into VWL?
DDP would be great for the studio portion of our stay. We won't need it once in the 1 BR

We're doing the same thing in November - DDP for a 2-night studio stay at BC; then, meals on our own for 3 nights in a 1BR at OKW. These are considered separate reservations.

Yup, it is per stay, not per vacation. Each of your reservations is considered a separate stay so you can add the DDP to one or both, as you wish.

Smart move!!! That's the best way to get the best value from the DDP. We try to do the same thing when ever we can.
