We will be staying in Oct (1 week) and I've used DDPbefore, but this time we have a bit of a problem.
So far my DDs family and my DH and I had to book separate resorts (SSR and OKW- DVC points-long story;) ) I know that my DGS7 may be back and forth between resorts, and there may be times that we eat separately (DGS would be on his parents card). Is there a way to have his DDP points put on his own card? Will the points on my and DHs card, be "adult " points, or can I use mine for him, and then when we all eat together, my DD can "buy" my meal to stay even?

When your DD checks in, I would think that she can request a KTTW card for all of them. The DDP credits are pooled and attached to the room cards so it should work out fine.

If for some reason your DGS doesn't get his own card, I would assume you can just take either your DD or her DH's card with you to use (unless it has the ticket and in that case, it would not work).

Anytime I have stayed at the hotels, everyone always get their own card.

As long as your DGS7 has his own Key to the World Card (and he should get one if he's on his parents reservation - my DS4 got one last trip) you can give the server your card for your meals and his card for his.

This is very common for large families and Grand Gatherings which have multiple reservations. You just have to be clear with your server as to what dinner belongs on which card. Before leaving, be sure to check your receipt which will list remaining credits to make sure it was done properly.

You should have no issues. :goodvibes

Thanks!!! I wasn't sure if we could separate the points. His own card would solve the problem. I can always get the answers here.:goodvibes

Actually, I don't think you'd have any choice but for him to have his own KTTW card. If you're on a package deal, the KTTW is also DGS's park ticket, so he has to have his own, which should be linked to the meal credits on his package.

(Unless of course, he's an AP holder...)

ETA: Oh, DVC points stay... then it is possible to get DDP without tickets there, too. I need more caffeine (and a reading comprehension course...)
