If staying at a DVC resort as a member for 7 nights. Can I purchase park passes for a diffrent # of days. For example 5 days of passes and 5 or less days of the DDP.

Seems like on previous trips Non DVC you had to have same number nights/passes/DDp??

Not yet a member but still trying to learn.

Thanks again for info.

So I can purchase 3 or as many/few DDP days as I want.

Thanks

You are not required to purchase park passes for the entire length of your stay. If you stay for 7 nights and only want park passes for 3 days, you are free to do so. The dining plan does require you to purchase it for the length of your reservation.

I think one way to accomplish what you are asking is to book 2 back to back reservations at DVC, one for say 3 days, followed by one for 4 days. You can have the dining plan for the 3 day reservation, and not have the dining plan for the following 4 day reservation. You might have to check out of the hotel and then check back in to accomplish this.

I like using the dining plan but to have it everyday, especially when you have groceries and a full kitchen in your resort. It seems like an odd requirement - too much food!!

Thanks for the info

It may be odd, but that's another way Disney makes money.

The first couple of days people eat at the most expensive restaurants, latter, when they get sick of eating, they are using their TS credits for a hamburger at Beaches & Cream! :thumbsup2

You have to purchase the ddp for the number of nights that your reservation is for, however, if you do as the other poster suggested, split your reservations. This way you can have ddp on one reservation but not the other. Then when you check in, they can tie those reservations together in the system so you don't have to move rooms.

Park passes can be purchased separately.:wizard:
