DDP & Disney Dining Experience at same time

Can I use the the Disney Dining Experience Card to pay for items not included in the Dining Plan (alcoholic beverages, appetizers, etc)? Will the restaurants allow me to split the checks for such items?

You should be able to. You would not need to split the checks. You would get one check with your charges removed for the DDP items, and then the remaining balance. Then you just treat the receipt just like any other - and give your DDE and your payment card to the server.

That's exactly how it works. We used both the DDP and DDE in 2007 (April and October) and it worked great!

Done it many times, never a problem.
