We'll be staying at Wilderness Lodge Villas next month on an Interval Int'l exchange. So, while I understand that DVC members and renters are eligible for the DDP what about DVC exchangers? It would seem to be the equivalent of a renter to me. Thanks for the all the advice on these boards.

No, not quite equivalent to a renter -- rather closer to an actual member. Exchangers actually pay a service fee to have direct access to Member Services, to (among other things) book the Dining Plan if desired.

You're right! I called DVC gave them my II reservation number for the Wilderness Lodge Villas for next month and they booked my DDP request into the reservation record and will pay at check-in. This will be our fourth Disney Resort visit but first using the DDP so it'll be an interesting change. I'll report back on my impressions.

Disney offers free transportation to/from MCO, DME. You even get yellow, bar coded, luggage tags. Use those tags and your luggage will bypass baggage claim at the airport and will be delivered directly to your room. Bell services are "pre tipped" you don't have to be in the room.

You have to request DME in advance. Just call member services and request it.
